I honestly dig their enemies to friends to lovers relationship, and I love how kenneth seems to have more depth as a character than arwin, and I love his personality so much. Also love how their relationship progressed and how they didn't immediately jump to marriage.

I mean, it worked right? To Bianca, Maria wasn’t someone who hated her, she was misled into thinking someone she trusted killed her mother who was everything to her.
And Bianca wanted to clear her name and figure out who actually killed her mother. If she antagonized Maria further, it would have cut off any chance of Maria figuring out something was amiss. It would confirm her worldview was right.
So lowkey, I think Bianca handled it well. She acted normally to Maria’s antics and that is what made Maria start to consider something was wrong.
I think it was understandable. Maria was aggressive but at that point she thought a friend killed her mom. Not to mention, she literally lived in a place that had control over what she hears and sees.
Bianca didn’t cave. She didn’t cry or beg in front of Maria. She didn’t give up. She didn’t relent to the rumors or threats and kept looking. She has a backbone. It’s just that Maria wasn’t the one she had to stand up against, it was the actual murderers
I was expecting it to be more focused on romance and smut based on the description and I was honestly thrown off by the action with the system and whatnot..? Idk if thats just me tho, might actually drop this
