This is the 2nd time I'm reading this manhwa, but there's something I never understood: Lyle and Ash meet twice before the events of Define The Relationship, first at Times Square (the kiss scene, etc.), and the other seems to be an argument between them 'cause of Nicholas, but we never saw anything about it for real. Or did we? Do Kyle and Nicholas have a manhwa of their own? I didn't find anything about it.
I read 2nd timeline novel. The 2nd Kloff is the least wrost of the Kloff's (since 3rd one is actually the 1srt, but in another timeline, and he is hella crazy). However, in the novel, the first sex scene of them in this 2nd timeline is extremely dubcon, basically rape. Fortunately, I noticed some time ago that he is softened in the manhwa. Kloff still have a cruel side (still kinda psycho, killing people in alleys, still kinda possessive, etc) , but he is more cautious and careful towards Aeroc. As far as I can say based on the raws, they first love scene is consensual in the manhwa. I'm not 100% sure 'cause I don't understand korean, but their body language gives me hope
It's because of the imprint dear. In the 3rd timeline, aeroc doesnt have memory so he rejects kloff. Which makes kloff crazy. In both 2nd and 3rd timeline are like possibility of what would happen after the 1st if they reincarnated or something. So Kloff still was imprinted unconsciously by Aeroc in the 1st, which kloff knows so he also went crazy, he said it will be his punishment. That's why he still goes crazy even without a reasom(his first kid dying).
In the 3rd timeline, even Aeroc felt bad for him cause others who doesnt have their omega arent as strong and would just go crazy but kloff can still retain his consciousness. If you tell him to stop being crazy, that's like telling a cancer patient to stop dying.
Lit, he's the most salvageable Kloff we get
....
I still hate him tho...
(Can i say, i felt a bit sad that they didn't include Aeroc having some dreams or flashbacks in the third timeline. I know Kloff's dreams and such come, most likely, from being imprinted.
But still
Kinda wish there was a second first timeline. Where both have the memories and kinda act like they don't until they learn the other remembers. But you know, different outcome or something. Idk I'm curious jsjs
Oh, thank u for the explanation! Let me be sincere, I've forgotten about the imprint, now it makes sense. I couldn't read much of the third timeline novel, 'cause the site broke, but I actually thought it was funny 3rd Kloff ranting with Aeroc and he being just "Who the fuck is this crazy fella?". However, I do feel sorry for both of them, 1rst timeline was pure suffering, and they continue to suffer in the next ones. Can we consider they paid for their sins? Don't know if I'm dreaming too much, but I wish they had happy endings in the 2nd and 3rd timelines.
I couldn't read much of the third timeline, it's a shame 3rd Aeroc does not have any dreams, like 2nd Kloff. Kinda strange, too, that he is so clueless. So the imptinting doesn't work the same for both of them! I never reflected on it.
Exactly! Tha would be so interesting! When I heard about the second timeline, I thought this would happen.
Yeah, me too!
But i guess it kinda makes sense that rhwrw wasn't one. The outcome would have been almost the same I believe. Cause Kloff never really let's go of that unhealthy obsession, resentment and guilt. Poor third timeline Aeroc....
Also, Aeroc is literally traumatized and with good reason. Second timeline Kloff NEEDED ro be better cause otherwise there's nO WAY it would have worked.
It's almost a different person tbh...
(I have a Spanish translation of the novel, if you'd like
I liked both (even though the second was kind of...weird?), but I can not help but fell frustrated. I mean, both of them have a not so happy ending??? The happy ending of the first is just confirmeted in the extras, but if we analyze just the "oficial" charapters, it was open, just like the second. Those extras saved my poor heart! ╥﹏╥
So, I'm definitively NOT pro-rape and that's a subject that really bothers me in 45% of yaoi stories and 90% of omegaverse stories. However, this manga gave me diferent sensations, though I'm not saying it was not rape at all. In general, the rape scenes are a lazy excuse for a fast relationship development, since fujoshi (including the autor's) are eager to see some hot stuff going on, so, summarizing, its unnecessary (if rape would ever be necessary). But in this manga the plot and world construction were well built to converge to this point. I mean, the story give us a plausible explanation behind heat, much more detailed and didactic than a lot of other omegaverse's out there; it shows that heat is, indeed, somenthing almost animalistic, it's all about instincts and losing control of themselfs, mostly for alphas. On the other hand, it also introduce ways to control the heat, and we learn with Megume that there are medicines even for aphas to resist omega heats. Conclusion: There's many paths to avoid unconsensual sex relationships according this manga. Megume used those drugs, he did his part, Tsugumi was the one that decided to take the risk. And I understand why, he has faith on his strength (mind and body), yet we can clearly see when he changes his mind and give in, a little at least. Then, he probably got scaried and backooff on his
thoughts, but the alpha could not control himself anymore, literally. Tsugumi could have beaten megumi as he did before,
nevertheless he also succumbed to heat (his body is an evidence). In the end, maybe, impartially analyzing yha whole case, both are guilty, one 'cause was incapable of enduring his instincts, and the other 'cause was too stubborn to collaborate (and did lose some of his resistance as well). ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

That's so dumb! They aro so dumb! I loooved it
