Honestly she’s not wrong. If the whole point was just to have an heir they’d probably stop at just one kid based on the household propensity with magi making then so powerful . He clearly loved his wife a lot . And the brothers probably loved their mother too just that as she said their senses in terms of emotions are so dull they can’t recognize that feeling

To see this king go from being cold and cruel to being a doting father to his daughter (the future leader) and then a fool for his wife. It’s just too funny and then again this whole family is full of oddballs Blanches magical but not magic power of understanding animals, Abigail’s black mana which she had no idea about at first which allows her to caste or dispel curses, Sablien who is just somehow gone from ill boy to cruel husband/cold father to now an actual family ma ruler (especially when he had such distrust for Abigail that even thought she cursed him) and Verite/Oberon a genius mage who just turned his personality around because of Blanche’s love but is like so OP. And what I mean what’s odd is more their personalities for this kind of time period. All of them kind of walk to the beat of their own drum that it stumps people

I love how only the majik that is literally in symbiosis kinda (it’s hard to tell honestly) is the one who is like “that’s a freak of nature you got growing in you!” And everyone there is already a freak of nature like girl you are one to talk

Let’s face it Isca, Sion and Khalid are really some weird polycule that will happen. Frankly Sion doesn’t even seem to mind Isca being with anyone else just so long as he can be with Isca. And Khalid doesn’t mind Sion’s presence at all despite being a demon so he clearly doesn’t hate him which would mean they have potential to get along. Sion is just open minded about many things and kind of innocent about many things so I also give him props for dealing with these guys for so long
