I’m actually surprised. All the male leads so far were actually pretty equal to me tbh. I didn’t think she would end up with Wonyoung(?)(Blue hair) either since he was introduced last. Personally, i was interested in the fiancee because the story would have been interesting if she actually does end up with her arranged fiancee (though i think it was the most obvious he wouldn’t be). I expected the shadow guard to be end game since his feelings were made very obvious and the first out of them all. But then the story also place a lot of emphasis on her relationship with white tiger guy so i thought it would be him. Well in the end, the ordinary blue hair swooped in haha.
It was interesting to guess who would be male lead so the story wasn’t bad. But i felt it was a bit rushed, if they expanded and included an arc for each potential male lead and then have more moments for loveydovey between the main cp, it would’ve been better. Also, i would’ve liked to see more of her badass gangster moments.
I’ve always really liked the author’s stories and this time is no different! They just have a way with character dynamics. This couple is especially so cute! Muwon is adorable and Jigyeol is also adorable!
Though it’s omegaverse, i think it’s refreshing to see a setting where omegaverse is not well known and just emerging within society. I hope nothing extreme happens, from numerous examples out there, and the story stays wholesome. Since one of Muwon’s theme so far is self restraint, I’m expecting him to do his part of development and be a green flag alpha. As for Jigyeol, please let him stay a cheerful and happy person.
Anyways, I’m really looking forward to what they’re cooking up!(≧∀≦)
It seems I’m in for a hot take here… Honestly this was a meh. How is this the best short BL you’ve ever read? You must have not read many… The story is barely coherent and choppy at best. There’s very little charisma or personality to the leads except the prideful omega and domineering alpha, and that isn’t expanded on enough. Admittedly, it is a short story but it still felt very bland, just not attractive enough. The art is good but not anything to write home about. It felt indecisive as well, neither committing to being toxic nor being wholesome so it’s iffy. The only good thing was the premise but the twist was so predictable, it lost all the fun. It’s an okay at most, imo.

I want whatever they have.
