honestly i don’t remember half the stuff that happened in this besides the keeping hostage etc but to me it was like a less violent POTN/Jinx? a case of Stockholm syndrome maybe but idk why everyone’s so upset i mean it’s a yaoi… ofc they’re gonna end up together??
oh thank god grandmas been dying since the first season i was wondering when that was going to finally happen!! anyways i liked it it seems rushed sure but i mean i feel like it closed up all the loose strings and came together alright. based on the BJ alex side stories i believe we’ll see their post confession relationship better there along with potato’s. im glad its a miscommunication that got cleared up… im sure the author will fix the gap between their feelings and their relationship with the side stories. the ones for BJ alex were amazing, we all knew Dan was not anything like the MC in her other works - he remained shrimpy to the end and that’s ok! i think im in shock but im ok

lolololol my predictions were right, i thought the fight scene was going to be longer and more climactic but surprisingly it felt rushed. anyways we’ll have doc dan having his limbo coma vision next probably along with the real redemption of jk but who knows - maybe the author will surprise us with another kidnapping or something from the baldy for losing. or probably jk getting hurt vice versa style.
possibly the longest chapter in this whole series and wow… i feel like getting everything thrown out at us was probably so the story doesn’t keep dragging on. it’s probably also to get some sort of conclusion faster, not that the story went downhill but i think if it spaced out prior a little more it would’ve made a bit more sense. i feel like the author felt really awful about their hiatus’s so they felt like giving a treat with the ML’s actual backstory but at the same time it feels a bit rushed. tbh i think the redemption and conclusion won’t be too long and we’ll get to see them together soon enough after one more major conflict or 2 (probably a hostage or kidnapping scenario tbh based on how crazy the auntie is so far). im just rambling but i felt like writing it down! sorry

1. jk will be too distraught to win during the first half - boom baldy will taunt him with a “how’s your doc doing blah blah” typical villain bs and then jk will lose control and be almost disqualified and dans voice will memory haunt him “win for me” and he’ll control himself and win ^^ this is my happy version
2. obv Dan and gma will be in some heaven like bs together she tells him to live laugh love and he comes back to life to see jk get almost 1. Defeated or 2. Disqualified and we won’t find out until the next chapter bcos it’ll be a cliff hanger

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve reread this, Hosiks story always makes me cry. One of the most memorable and beautiful things I’ve ever read. I’ll read it again when my emotions settle.
