I always get really frustrated reading this manga. The mc is taking the approach of pretending to support viena to betray/humiliate her in the end but the process is taking so long. Every time they have a argument I don’t feel like the mc is winning at all. It’s like how the mc made a smart move to not call her last name in the ball to reduce her to just a niece and not part of the family. She couldve just let the niece feel frustrated but she goes comforting her how it’s for ur own good. Even in the latest chapter with how her moms jewelry was stolen it didn’t feel like she “won” in that situation because she didn’t really prove a point to either her father or viena. Idk Ik she’s not one of those mc that are overpowered and can always come up with the best come back and humiliate others, or straightforwardly show hatred towards the enemy and instead she’s taking the slow approach, but I always feel so frustrated cause nothing has happened to viena yet . No revenge or anything
I mean, we’re only on chapter 16; the plot going any faster than this would just be unrealistic. Not only does she have to take down Vienna AND a prince, but she’s also trying to usurp her father’s position. That’s a lot for 16 chapters.
But besides that, the reason she’s playing it the way she is, is because he father would do more things to mess with her if she was outwardly showing hatred for Vienna. He already caused the who swing incident when she wasn’t even doing anything. She needs to take down her father before starting her revenge plot(and again, it’s not very realistic for her to take over as head of the house so soon).
Also if her hatred and plan was obvious to Vienna, Vienna would probably start doing some actual plotting as well; not just petty stuff. It’s all to keep her in the dark as the pieces lineup, then catch her off guard.
I don’t understand why that girl is still alive? There’s multiple times throughout the story where they could’ve killed her or let her die, but one of them always goes and save her because she’s their sis or ex. But then he tries to kill both of them relentlessly, as well as the innocent ppl and their friends. For example the little boys grandpa yet they still left her alive? I feel like I’m missing an important thing here because she’s been the villain or enemy since the very beginning ( ̄へ ̄)
I love how strong and intelligent she is but I wish she was more ruthless hehehe. It’ll be unsuitable for her character but it just makes me mad that she’s so nice to them despite all that they did. Like giving the duke a chance to learn and redeem himself and Stella to continue to live them, with the possibility of him earning back the dukedom is too nice for my taste. They don’t deserve that. Instead of making it prosperous and giving it back to him I rather her kick him out and own the dukedom herself (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Ik why she decided to hide her identity but I still feel like it’ll be really cool if everyone knew who she was in the swordsmanship competition. That way her family would know they missed out on a gem that’s even better than her brothers and for everyone to stop belittling her as just a knight cause of her family title
It'll repeat what happened in her last life. She doesn't want to be recognize anymore that's why she doesn't care about her family anymore and simply want revenge to the royal family. Going back from the first chapters, she was forced to be a sword because she flaunt her skills and abilities and recognized by the king.
No it would be bad if they knew who she was because one the emperor might take her away from the 13th prince thinking that she could be useful for some other purpose like being turned into a sword and right now she wants to stay hidden and control the 13th prince so revealing her identity will prevent that
He just reveals he gained back his memories just like that?? I’m kinda dissatisfied especially after all the hurt the fl had to go thru I’m a sucker for drama so I was hoping that the fl would lose hope at one point and cry in front of the ml, causing him to reveal it
