I don’t get why they couldn’t reveal the crown prince mistreatment of his sister to the empress and emperor. I get their explanation but now they genuinely think the crown prince took such good care of her that she got better and they only think of him in a more positive light. Wouldn’t it make more sense to bring them to see the truth(him strangling her), be in disbelief, and then have the halias be liek my second son wants to marry her and since the palace didn’t treat her will/ she has trauma we’re taking her with us
there was a line about the prince being removed as the heir, and it being his only punishment (might have gotten the specifics wrong lol) but he's been hogging all attention and resources that would have otherwise been divided into the three of them. he has all the political power and advantage in the social scene, which means he'd still get his way sooner or later (ie killing his siblings ahead of time, or some other plan with similar effect). ideally, they'd have to ruin the prince's image first entirely, as well as make it so that his allies cannot help. that or death/exile
No. Those two come off as ever optimistic, happy-go lucky fools. They aren't even decent parents, 'cause if they were, no matter how busy they were, they would have made the rime to check on her at least once a quarter and veen liasing with the medic in charge of her wellbeing. They would also be aware of the trash treatment the 2nd prince is experiencing and either put measures in place, or keep him close. Exposing him without serious evidence of intent, blackmail and support he receives to mess up his siblings and the other diabolical things he's up to that let him get away with abusing his siblings and terminating/preventing any political support from other family and nobles would be a waste of time. Those parents would do some light mental gymnastics and let their crown prince off with a slap on the wrist. They piss me off even more than he does.
Hmmmmm I guess that does make sense. The parents do seem like the type to just not really care as they never even thought to visit her once

That washonestly my first theory. I remember comment-posting about it earlier in the story. But at some point they implied or atraight up stated that he was the sibling without any powers. And there doesn't seem to be anyone that he regularly keeps by his side that would be an alternate for the powers to manipulate. And the only magical item and barrier of note were made by a rare powerful witch/magician. So unless, he also had access to another one, willing to put in the work to make something powerful enough to keep up a mind control power, when he was still a high schooler (since the excessive control started about then), I just don't see it. But I'm always up for a good plot twist XD

Yeomin runs away from the ml and his security guards aren’t able to catch him. Ml gets furious and tells his followers to find yeomins mom and bring her to him so yeomin would not run away and come back. He also gets mad regretting not breaking his ankle so he can’t run at all. LIKE… WTF ATP he’s just acting like a real gangster to yeomin and he’s basically like loan sharks that chased after him. But basically yeomjn escapes to the country side YAY and ml gets confused cuz he saw yeomin left his piggy bank behind that yeomin never left even when he was getting kicked out of the house crying or when he was being chased by loan sharks so ml starts thinking was if yeomin thought being with ml was more dangerous that he left his piggy bank behind. So ml is starting to get some self awareness??? But I feel like no matter wat he does he can’t redeem himseldb
Honestly the villain character is written so well. I feel like sometimes other stories just make the villain surface level evil (like personal grudge against mc or inferiority complex),

I feel like all the character growth taeso did was just all lost now. Why did he say all that about it being yeomins fault and to think of himself as a sugarbaby?? Like we saw the progression of him being straightforward and mean in the past but after being with yeomin he started to soften up and be more considerate. So why’s he acting like that out of no where??

the emperor will slowly die over the chapters. He thought he could recover after this and become better, but day after day he just feels worse and worse. He then had a realization that he’s dying and grows increasingly irritated (the part where he realizes he was gonna die, he was so afraid and did not want to believe it was true at all which made it so sad to read T^T). The prince listens to everything he says because he has yet to pass the crown prince title to him. That’s when the grandfather( previous head of Lombardi) goes to visit the emperor one last time. The emperor complained about now that he’s dying no one’s visiting him and asks the grandfather if he’s afraid of death since he’s old. The grandfather said he isn’t cuz he has a amazing grand daughter who will carry on the family title and the importance of passing on ur lineage and doing good deeds, so when u die people remember ur name. This changes the emperors outlook and announces the second prince as the crown price and donates a bunch of money to charity and helped out the poor so that he would be remembered as a gracious emperor. But then as it seems that he was gonna die easy the second princes goes and reveals that he knows the real one who kills his mother wasn’t the empress but the EMPEROR!!! (If I remembered correctly). And then suffocates the emperor to death.

He was like I’m a good ruler so the people will remember me (insinuating he doesn’t need to donate to charity cuz the people already loves him) and the grandfather gave him the biggest silence LOLOLOO so the emperor was liek O- ok I’ll donate XDD

She didn't get proof that the fake was from the temple. Even if she suspects some of the temple people, she has no way of knowing if it's all of them.
