Help me out here. I've been trying to search for this since last night but google is useless. I thought it would be easy but it's been maybe 5+ years since I read it so it's not in my Already Read list either. The only things I remember are that he's a salaryman and so is the other guy. I'm pretty sure he's his boss or something and they basically keep work and home life separate. At work his bride is serious but at home he's loving and kind.

Please, I don't remember anymore but I feel like the premise is pretty specific.
I think in chapter 1 the main character was like fanaticizing out loud with a co-worker about coming how to a warm meal and the ML overheard them and then when he got home ML was actually there waiting sitting seiza with a warm meal. Naturally MC lost it and thought he was crazy but the food looked too good and he just slowly accepted them living together like this MF didn't just break into his house. He only remembered this was a bad thing when it got to bedtime and ML got into bed with him and insisted on performing his "wifely duties" but of course MC was like 'no thanks' so ML decided to 'take charge' instead so MC got poked. I might be mixing up another story with a ML 'Bride', idk.

Once I remembered what the cover looked like I just went on Anime Planet and scrolled through..... a lot of pages until I saw the one I remembered.
The MC was the god's lover in their original life in this fantasy world, MC was killed because of some plot and the ML was turned into a God. He pulls the Modern Day MC into the fantasy world but obviously MC doesn't remember because it was his Past Life.
When the MC is pulled into the world he's treated like a Saint, the Only Saint they've ever had, and he's super spoiled living it up in the temple
There's a section where they go on some journey to a temple outside the capitol for some Holy Artifact but I don't remember why they needed it. The ML also used this as an excuse to take human form and travel with them.
The MC is used to working so the ML/God gives the MC all sorts of arbitrary System/Game-like Tasks and wants him to remember his past life.
In the end the MC got upset at him because of the god trying to force him to remember his past life and basically told the ML that he didn't want to be a replacement for someone who already died. If the ML can't accept him as his new self then he doesn't want to be with the ML/god. Blah, Blah, Blah, slightly Angsty, then Happily Ever After once the ML accepts that the original is gone.
I'm like 90% sure it was a BL but it might be GL but I have a terrible memory... that's why I needed these freaking lists, sigh.
