The constant drama aside, my adult brain is reading this VERY differently.
I cannot get over the subtle disrespect Satonaka gets as a short Top. He's presented as the most perverted and dangerous out of all of them. He thinks his crush won't ever return his feelings so he'll just force him but all his attempts are just brushed off and presented as funny. He's not a real threat because 'short'.
In spite of the sculptor having no respect for boundaries or someone else's relationship, he gets a happy ending while the short Top doesn't.
Not that I particularly care about any of the side characters getting a happy ending, but I do wonder.
I'm so DESPERATE, seriously.
I need help finding this and this story is similar so maybe you lovelies know it. It feels like it's been removed or something.
It was a BL [90% sure] with the MC being transported to a fantasy medieval world by a god and he was immediately praised by the temple as their Only Saint, chosen by their God. He was spoiled and treated well.
But the MC doesn't quite like this treatment, he likes to have some work so the god gives him silly little tasks with a Game/System window but also just visits him directly in person.
It turns out that the God was actually the MC's lover in a past life, a thousand years ago in the fantasy world or something but the MC was killed because of a plot/war while the ML was made into a God.
The MC occasionally has flashes/dreams of this past life and the ML is really invested in making MC remember their past life.
There's a section where the ML takes human form for an extended time and travels with the MC to some temple outside of the capitol for some ceremony or something.
Another part where the MC pretends to be a novice priest and goes to a training island with other novices but the boat they're on is attacked by a rival religion's zealots.
Also when the MC finds out that they had a history he gets really upset with the ML and says that he doesn't want to be with him if the ML only wants him because of their past life. he wants the ML to accept him as himself, not as this past version of him.
**Also, the first time they did the DEED, there was like an Aurora and a bunch of miracles, ya know because the ML was so happy his divine power covered the city.
I think the cover had the god/ML in a kind of revealing robe and the MC in a standard brown Saint/Priest robe.
This is SO ANNOYING. I've been combing through the list without filtering anything out [super annoying with all the DJs clogging it up] and I STILL can't find any cover that's vaguely similar to what I remember.
Heck, maybe I'm mis-remebering what the cover looked like.
HELP! ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥
lol, OMG, I got the answer. I have such a terrible memory, it's not even a manga. Though, I do read dozens of these stories in a month.
"7 Transmigration Tips From the Saint" it's a Web Novel on Trans-weaver
I have such a vivid imagination that the cover art alone created images in my head from reading it, lol.
It might not be your thing. I read it originally as it was being translated, now I just want to re-read it all at once and see if it holds up.
I'm not sure if I'm remembering this right but didn't a much earlier chapter mention someone who became an Omega for their Alpha and got pregnant? Is that just extremely rare and not going to happen to Carlyle or am I thinking of another series?
Did the author just drop that line and forget about it? Did I hallucinate the scene?
I tried to read the novel but it was way too annoying and repetitive at times when I think it was attempting to be funny. Like the pillow thing dragged on way too long. Idk, maybe it's because I play video games and I have no patience for arbitrary difficult for difficulty's sake systems.
I might be able to actually get through this now because I've never seen a stuck in a horror setting Isekai.
Anyone have recommendations for horror setting isekai? Preferably with a female protagonist.
how is ‘the’ dumb fl any different from bada from DN? both dry-confessed to the mls while holding unto their lives tho? and still they’re accomplishing the game’s objectives whilst avoiding the system’s death flag which is a W for both parties. that’s like the opposite of dumb and naivety. childishly no fear of their life sometimes or annoying, i’d get at least? sorry to say but the fl is doing everyth right in the game for me, not saying you should pick this up again tho.
also, DN has mature themes and mild gore. this story still falls under the transmigration korean manhwas even if it is within a horror game so it’s toned down to a level. and the horror game in question is even in pixel format (= chibi ocs and villain) while DN is a disk-type video game which is why the pillow case and farming/grinding for money and exp is so funny to me (i’d be odd if DN adapted this since it’s not pixelated and has a whole different thing going on). oh and as per the op, i think this manhwa did give the viewers a refreshing perspective of the novel since i also easily get tired of just reading.
Are we talking about the same manhwa? Have you read my comment? In which i was talking about the manhwa: “i thought it was a fantasy romance, but its a horror story.” And that i didnt like it and dropped it. Because of FL who turned every detail into a romance, made her conclusions (which were wrong), believed everyone, made herself the fl of the story she was “supposed” to be in (romfan) while she was in a horror WITHOUT NOTICING ANYTHING and being delusional?! so on so on… she is very very dumb imo, especially when she was an adult in her past life… That manhwa in which i said it was a horror story not a game… while giving rec?
Just to be sure, i was in fact NOT talking about THIS MANHWA (how to survive in a horror game)…
so im sorry tho next time try to read carefully :// why would i say i want to see more manhwas like this and then btch on the FL? i love FL of this manhwa, i think she is really smart and its no. 1 in my isekai into game category!

Would he have not been allowed to go to school at all if they'd found out he was an omega in Middle School or was it just because his mother kicked him out that he couldn't enroll in another school?
Seriously, 3 years later and he's just resigned to working at a restaurant without any thoughts about completing his education or attending university.
Like, yes, we know his alphas will have good jobs and be able to take care of him regardless but it's really weird that he apparently had the best grades in the school until finding out he was an omega then suddenly he has no interest in his education.
I probably wouldn't mind as much if it weren't mentioned that he actually had excellent grades. It implies he took his education seriously but it was only 'important' when he was an alpha?
