Everything is said and laid bare, without expecting or trying to bring something out of the other, they both stated what they felt, not asking a single question in return.
How Hayden talked first about the court situation, painfully holding his arm, then as the conversation went on he released his arm and linked his fingers in a form of coming to peace with himself ...
Also how Brett said everything and for once throughout the story, he wasn't manipulating his way into getting something out of Hayden and was actually the one to leave.
And that panel of Hayden's face? ...
I can't believe it's coming to an end in a few chals
Very sad it's coming to an end but if it's meant to end this fast, I'm loving this closure.
It's gay, queerish, two men doing reasonable things to AND with each other. They keep their tone, they keep their dynamic without losing their personality (and how I love both of their personality)
It's working for them, they're not sure about their future and they're honest about that but they're gonna give their y'all.
I really hope the author will add side stories or extras with them. I don't know if they'll be able to write something even better than this, but with how beautiful Dark Guardian was and the crazy literary piece rollercoaster An Unsettling Scent was, I'm trusting them with their next work, whenever it comes.
Oh please that's one of my most favorite series, also rereading it everytime.
Brett and Hayden are both amazing characters, they still have so much to tell I want to know what happened between chap 63 and today's chap, a lot lot must have happened.
When I saw Scott with Martin I got pissed again but whatever
When Hayden welcomed Brett, he's really actively teaching him "how to love" isn't he... And Brett seems keen to learn. They also seem to have found an equilibrium in their kink.
The proposal was so in-character, Brett skeptical about useless cheesy stuff still in pajamas and Hayden so serious and lyrical.
I really don't want to come with the fact it ended...
"beast must die " vibe as I got in this is same i got taste for plots like this complexity, realistic not so dramatic but well made characters are becoming my type more than cringe ones, brett and Hayden will forever be in my heart as much as kang mo and kirin are.
Brett is learning slowly and Hayden teaching him I love how they sitting on sofa just enjoying their company but yah i hate Martin and scott they are just so annoying to the core anyway I hope we at least get side stories like "do you still like?"
Since it's coming to an end, can we all put our predictions for chap 64
Mine :
1. 6 months timeskip
2. Red carpet/Premiere scene
3. Something sassy/snarky from Brett
4. Ending on the boat/yacht
We'll also probably have the season's notes the week after... Can we hope for extremely long notes like Borderline had
I'm not ok
I thought we'd have 19-22 chaps this season but 19 seems almost diabolical
All good things come to an end... At least the author wrote something with an amazing quality and wrapped it as they wanted ... Although there are a lot of plot elements or characters the could explore more (totally understandable with the number of characters and their complexities) and 64 chapters would never be enough for that, but at least on a personal level, I feel like the author completed what they wanted.
They never wrote it in a way of "now they're happy, and soon happily ever after", no, they really digged into their imperfection and flaws, their most inner fears, exposed everything and found a mature reading of it all (while still respecting BLs codes)
But what now honestly, there isn't another manhwa I wait for or obsess about like this one. Brett And Hayden are unique et I don't think we'll see a character like Brett anytime soon

Main highlight of the chapter, could he get even more gorgeous than this?
