Main highlight of the chapter, could he get even more gorgeous than this?
Moral of the story : love your abusers and build them a house.
Amazing art, amazing use of colours, despicable story.
What was part 2 even about? I don't understand the writing line, it felt like a big block acting as an act with a lot of chaos and ... The end.
I'll remember part 1 as one of the best mangas I've ever read (with other goats like Vagabond, 54 chaps of Vinland saga etc)
Everything is said and laid bare, without expecting or trying to bring something out of the other, they both stated what they felt, not asking a single question in return.
How Hayden talked first about the court situation, painfully holding his arm, then as the conversation went on he released his arm and linked his fingers in a form of coming to peace with himself ...
Also how Brett said everything and for once throughout the story, he wasn't manipulating his way into getting something out of Hayden and was actually the one to leave.
And that panel of Hayden's face? ...
I can't believe it's coming to an end in a few chals
Very sad it's coming to an end but if it's meant to end this fast, I'm loving this closure.
It's gay, queerish, two men doing reasonable things to AND with each other. They keep their tone, they keep their dynamic without losing their personality (and how I love both of their personality)
It's working for them, they're not sure about their future and they're honest about that but they're gonna give their y'all.
I really hope the author will add side stories or extras with them. I don't know if they'll be able to write something even better than this, but with how beautiful Dark Guardian was and the crazy literary piece rollercoaster An Unsettling Scent was, I'm trusting them with their next work, whenever it comes.
Since it's coming to an end, can we all put our predictions for chap 64
Mine :
1. 6 months timeskip
2. Red carpet/Premiere scene
3. Something sassy/snarky from Brett
4. Ending on the boat/yacht
We'll also probably have the season's notes the week after... Can we hope for extremely long notes like Borderline had
Best chapter of the manhwa???? It encapsulates everything about them, their intimacy, their rough dynamic, and everything is laid bare, no more pretense.
Hottest chapter of the manhwa + amazing dialogues.
I can't believe this is coming to an end with all the crazy potential it has.
The author always delivers. What a story, great setting, great characters, well written dialogues and a very interesting plot
We need more
I can't believe my eyes ... It's here, they're here !!!
They're both so intense and serious, but it's so sexy and so "them".
2 weeks wait now
Pure perfection from start to finish
They TALK like really talk, not actually expecting anything from the other, just stating what they felt and why they felt it. I love how it's just a discussion and not any of them trying to coerce something from the other. They don't change who they are, but they understand each other more.
And that chapter end???? WE NEED NEXT WEEK CHAP IMMEDIATELY
Very good chapter, perfect closure for Scott's arc. Brett and him had interesting interactions, honest and even ... Heartfelt.
Scott told Hayden that Brett can act lightly and be misunderstood, and it would good to at least have a serious conversation once, thus them meeting now.
The chapter ends with another cliffhanger (AGAIN). Brett tells Hayden "you saw the trial, you know the huge mess that happened after Weaver brought out the new witness" ... Who is it I don't think it would be the inspector, it's probably someone else and maybe, just maybe, the inspector would be the one to do something later, correct the narrative to redeem himself (too good to be true).
But considering the fact that Hayden didn't talk to Brett during those 2 years, I don't think this "mess" was that harmful to Brett, otherwise Hayden would probably have reached him out (+the unharmed very privileged position he kept, how he's independent enough to do business on his name and not the company's name etc)
Théories are needed
Besides all the current events happening, I love the main character, he has personality, he's layered, we disagree with him at times yet we really "feel" him.
I love the art, the lines, the decor, very seinen-like.
(The spoilers in the comments... Thanks for preparing us for whatever'll happen)
