this story was so beautiful in every way possible (plot, art, dialogue, characters, relationships, the list goes on) but for my mental well being this will be the last time i read it (ಥ﹏ಥ)
i feel like i might be the only one but this story is not as annoying as y’all make it out to be like it’s barely the 8th chapter,, sooooo much can change and happen
i like that the ML is complex and, in my opinion, interesting! he seems to be trying a bit more now in terms of getting to know her and also his own feelings. in this chapter he literally says he doesn’t understand/feel the feelings she describes when having a crush. she even comments that it seems like a “lonely” experience. prior to saying this as well, he says that “the greater the expectations, the bigger the disappointment”. idk i genuinely feel like there’s more to him than what we’re seeing so far
i’m personally interested in learning more about his character and i am hoping and praying the author gives him depth and doesn’t just make him a boring one dimensional ML
this is longer than i meant but i will forever defend complex MLs that display human emotions bc they’re automatically seen as “red flag”

Agreeeed. I feel like people (here especially) think a love interest can only be “good” if they just go all out for the the MC straight up also the hate on FL??? Like the fact that she’s self-aware of her own feelings and the uncertain situation she is in with the ML but has confidence enough to still try because she wants to see her feelings through to the end is so refreshing imo. Sure, we can all wish for the ML to come around but he has yet to actually engage in anything romantic with any other girl. I’d say it’d be more impactful when he does fall for the FL and confesses with genuineness and certainty to how he feels.
