wait i’m back bc i was thinking and like everyone is so quick to judge like cmon this is a shoujo manga guys… one thing shoujo excels at is having characters not be one dimensional and so much more than what they seem
the ML could easily feel as though he doesn’t deserve to be in love or have someone be in love with him due to past trauma or something which is why he prefers short flings or maybe i’m crazy and hoping that he’s more than what meets the eye. but idk like just assuming “oh he’s a red flag” or something i think doesn’t give the mangaka enough credit esp off of 2 chapters…
idk i think “a condition called love” anime coming out and everyone immediately hating hananoi bc he’s “a red flag” but is actually a well written character who’s dynamic in the way he interacts with the world around him made me a bit mad. let characters develop guyssss
