Till when does this animal dungeon thingy last. It's getting boring
Ha? You read it up until this latest chapter and the only thing you know is about "the fan service for bl fans"? Are you dang serious? Can't you see how cute, adorable, lovely, fluffy, beautiful, amazing, extraordinary cute, super super adorable did i mentioned capital CUTE our beloved Gru is? This whole arc is a fan service of Gru's cuteness! She's serving us top tier cuteness then you only know about this one a few bubbles about "misunderstanding"? You're weird. Ma'am. So weird. Our Gru was there giving us all the glory of her cuteness! Serving us the most glorified adorableness! And you were sayin this is a fanservice for something that was only mentioned a few times and not really the main trope? Are you for dang real?!
im pretty sure this arc is where gru discovers she can be family with people that arent biologically related to her. like how she was confused why they were mistaken for a family even though they look nothing alike, but zhenya explains that family comes in different forms and you dont have to be related to be family. this is onset of gru opening up a closer, more familial relationship with the guild master and her other "parents"
I don't think readers realize how intense the homophobia is in Korea irl
Agreed. However, even under intense oppression, people can still be out and thrive against the machine. We actually see that with all the other gay characters in this story.
The very concept of "coming out" was pushed by Harvey Milk in the 70s at a time when sodomy laws were in effect in several parts of the US. Homophobia was rampant, as was police violence against trans people and visibly queer individuals, yet there were still thriving communities like the Tenderloin popping up. Milk argued that coming out pushed back against heteronormativity, broke down stereotypes, and would help to unite queer people everywhere. To add to your point, I think a lot of people have forgotten that coming out is as much a political statement as it is a personal one.
All that said, no one should feel pressured to come out, especially if they don't feel safe to do so; but, I think it's important that we all recall that standing up proudly together is the strongest path out of hetero tyranny. Garam coming out isn't going to solve homophobia in SK, but he will be able to live a much happier life and will find support in his friends/community. There will always be homophobes and hate (unfortunately), but that doesn't mean we have to bend to their expectations.

Now I know why others prefer novel rather than manhwa/manhua. Own imagination is incomparable to what is produced in the manhwa
May I ask what chapter of the novel this is? HAHAHHDHA
It's also around chapter 220
Thank you!!
