it surely isn’t the… deepest? manhwa out there but you really can’t judge a book… totally by its cover. it was a fun, no brainer, still kinda emotional, wish fulfillment read.

i like the balance-ish between smut and plot (without the plot getting too, too heavy).

it can be argued that that was anticlimactic but damn even if the build up was longer than the actual fight, that was the most satisfying chapter to have ever come from this series

.. I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I did. While it left me wanting more, that was precisely the perfect length and way to end it.

It was short but I even felt for the ML as he was pining for the MC. It was fun and the characterization was really believable for the both of them.

the main story wasn’t really explored or fleshed out all too well.. there could have been potential for some angst or pining and unrequited love (in the cute aggression, slow burn way— not the sad way plus the Byul dropping out of being an idol arc had potential) but..

Fargo always shined with their side stories more than the main ones so I’m excited!

I feel so sad with what I saw though because it’s so pointless to have the grandfather be the reason for haebom’s actions. If he didn’t waver with his ahjumma’s initial disapproval, he certainly won’t waver with anyone else’s. Literally, the only people he had left to lose who were so close to him were his ahjumma and taesung. And they did all that when they were still students, dependent on their ahjumma to survive. This makes even less sense now that they’re adults who have their own sources of income and their lives.

Idk how that’s justified in the latest episodes but… :( every time this updates, I just come back to wish this was an AU and an elaborate prank for April fools or whatever. Ppl would say this story wasn’t ever well-written. Part of this story’s charm was that you were never under any impression that there wouldn’t be a happy ending for any conflict —and they always resolved it by the healthiest means like communicating or realizing later on that they did need to communicate or by just showing resolve. We just needed a Love So Pure type series of epilogues where we look into everyone’s lives

i won’t even be mad if the author just says next chapter that all that happend in season 5 so far was a dream.

i just want something like love so pure or hoshik’s story where we just explore everyone’s everyday life — it could even be all the other characters. taesung’s dad, mom, secretary kim, the boys’ friends, haebom’s parents love story like any of that! an au where they get a kid? im all for it!

This is far from being the most problematic BL out there but i really can’t fathom liking the sunbae . The way he just gaslights hosik after he assaults him and gets him pregnant i think i could have stomached this better if he were just outright abusive then redeemed rather than but having the story actually root for the sunbae? I just can’t what happened to hosik is literally my worst nightmare and i don’t understand why it’s being treated as if it’s nothing. That’s why I dob’t quite get how this is a comfort manga for ppl. But… if you kinda feel the same as me, does the sunbae ever get redeemed? Or are the actions explained? Does he apologize or does it just ignore the initial premise? How so u get over that initial ick for the creepy sunbae? I just like art and really want to give it a chance.
