i feel like the plot is so overpacked i hate the fact that we’re unsure whether the emperors and empresses relationship will be revealed to the other characters. especially the duke because the emperor is only enduring it because of him. i also hate that juliet is unaware of anything outside of their marriage in the future i feel like she had the potential to be much more helpful.
but besides that, was the emperor not with the empress in the past? how come the rebellion didn’t happen around that time as well? if juliet wasn’t involved with the duke wouldn’t that have given him an ample amount of time to investigate the matter of the princess and the border? someone spoil me please

i definitely think it’s necessary because now we’re able to see the future of subin and juns relationship and how they develop similar and mutual feeling for each other. of course we know they like each now but they weren’t clear about it last season especially with all the arguing and we weren’t able to tell how their relationship would work out bc they were so wishy-washy lol. i love that the focus of this season is their relationship bc it balances out the last season where the focus was subin getting over his first love now we get to see him actually moving on and find his one true love as well as his first love sorta doing the same.
