Yea I actually agree that this story is messed up and just straight up odd, I hate how the author made the MC an inspiration of her irl opp to express her fetishes of sadists and rape (also seen through her other story reverse thinking). But what makes this story so interesting is the “ML’s” character development and how the MC deals with his trauma, which can actually be seen through ppl irl (like how they deal with trauma through alcoholism and isolation through depression and the pressure of the trauma). You can see that the author is trying to tell that whatever is done, is done, and that people who had impact people negatively, affecting their overall dimensions of health will forever be scarred and that there’s nothing to do to fix it, even with proof that the impacter is trying to change.

I actually love the editors notes and stuff cause they’re so funny putting these memes up and everything, it shows how unserious they are like us . But when they started hyping up the MC’s suicide, I was like “oh girl.. BUT OKAY”.
