read this in a day. was team biseol but i felt that the author preferred doha more. i could sense the focus shifting to doha on the latter half of the story. first half was very biseol. spoiler: the buildup that hamil started everything since he was a kid made me believe that he was up for some painful repentance but his story got resolved quickly with no huge consequences (or maybe author just didnt wanna draw it). idk why there was a lot of focus on the head priestess too. more than doha/yeon towards the end. also yeon is apparently everyone’s “beloved” but she dont care boo lol anyway, i feel the chapters of the last couple trials leading up to the climax felt underwhelming. the big reveal of the fallen god, head priestess, hamil arc was meh. we also dont see much of yeon during her reign since she was focused on collecting spirit fragments of head priestess. what’s worse, they nerfed her muscle mommy bod so bad
at least the previous emperor finally reunited with rim. i cried for their story.
Yeah! Second half the author seemed to have a change of "heart", or maybe she was externally influenced to give Doha more weight in this story. Anyway, it's a pity it doesn't feels like a natural evolution of the characters... ╥﹏╥
