Personally I have no issues with how the plot change in this season but I think the issue is that previous season there is no mention of the grandfather at all and how he is except a small part. It would have been better if in the previous seasons the author could show bits and pieces of the grandfather and how he collected infos of his grandson and show how he was not happy but also show how the grandmother keep track of him, like just a prologue for this seasons. If that happen then I think this seasons would make so much sense. Showing that after the grandmother died the grandfather starts moving on with his plan to control teasung
in the season 4 ending, on the author notes, they mentioned how they wanted to add the grandpa to the story, but ended up not doing so because of the other stuff that was going on during season 4 and how the author didn't want to add more suffering towards them....so now the author has the chance to do that now, it's this chapter when the author mentions it

it rly is the abruptness of the season. it’s not like it’s a bad plot (there’s more questionable and worse things out there) but because the coherence is off and tone is way different from what was set in the previous chapters, this felt more like an unnecessary angsty AU

Many people keeps saying if they wanted the story to go this way, the author should've just create a different story to begin with.... I agree somewhat.
But I think it would have been better or it would make for sense if the author could have add a few chapters in the previous season to show grandfather's interference from time to time and teasung mom confronting him for it or either teasung dad meeting him, like if they showed atleast that they meet even if they don't elaborate about it then it make sense that when he get the chance to break them up he took it.

Too bad cos I like reading this. I know it's toxic and all but it's so refreshing to read something different. I love the cliches too but sometimes I want a unique storyline to get me going and for me it's pretty unique especially with the different timelines and how each timeline's the character differ a little bit.

He has such a good relationship with his parents (finally). He could have just texted them and tell them he found heabom like they were also concern when he want missing. He should have contact hisom atleast. And why are they not looking for him or contact him either. It's not like they can't, they could just ask their secretaries to look into it you know. The way teasung is behaving is so unnecessarily unlike his character. I understand heabom for not reaching out to teasung parents but it's out of character for teasung himself

I can't believe the author changes him so much... I would have love it if the author keeps his character the same and how he tackle the grandfather debacle, that would have been really interesting, no?
I saw the last chapter on YouTube Short (bits and pieces). I thought bom will get but thank God it didn't happen. I know he was still humiliated but at the very least it didn't get worst so.... I hope teasung get his revenge soon.
And what happened to his parents... Like his mom was so supportive and even his dad was too but they haven't support bom or teasung.... Why?????
The ending with the grandfather was so lackluster... it was disappointing.
It seems all the hate comments for making this season finally reached the author that they just want it to end abruptly just to clear their conscience.
I'm not mad at all for how they approach this season, it's just that the 3 seasons was sooo good that I have a high expectations and the author didn't deliver to the level I was hoping for. I think if this was a different story altogether with new character names, even if everything is the same, I think more people would've love the story. And the author could flesh out the grandfather's character and his dominant attitude more then this would've been one good story.
