It’s missing a lot of details from the novel, though I understand because this author reallyyyyyy likes to write things out in a super heavy detailed way, and that’s alright because it’s an adaptation. However, I think it’s missing some parts that made me a little emotional, the little things that you can relate with, like the actual REAL awkwardness that the MC felt so much with Aiden. Like it felt so real in the novel, but barely comes across here, especially in the first meeting.

I haven’t gotten past the first chapter of the webtoon, but I’ll stick with the novel, because it’s already skipped some stuff I thought would be adapted, though there is a lot of exposition in the first chapter.

Of course, if you aren’t into lots and lots of detail, this would prob be better, but the emotions def come across better in the novel and way more relatable with the Seowon’s/MC’s thoughts. It dwelled into his mind a lot throughout, which is understandable since it’s mainly about his feelings.

20-30ish panels in the webtoon though, we missed literally a lot of the exposition and his thoughts on the matter (which are really important imo and build on his values and understanding of the world around him for later conflicts).

several studies have actually shown that because of sexual violence being portrayed this way, people actually start becoming desensitised and may even come to believe (even unconsciously) that sometimes, sexual assault/rape can really lead to love/people who are sexually assaulted feel pleasure while being assaulted. for example, in the porn industry, women are usually portrayed in a way wherein they feel pleasure even though men are being rough on them, and this has actually increased the number of men and women who believe that there are women out there who like being assaulted or that even though women say no at the start, they will eventually succumbed to pleasure. so, yes, even though this is pure fiction, it actually contributes to rape culture, and it's not wrong to keep talking about it until people realises that we shouldn't just brush off stories that portray sexual assault as something normal or something that doesnt lead to grave consequence

My mind is a blur, but i can clearly remember what i ate during breakfast that made my stomach and asshole go skrrrt, I just woke up late and there's nothing to cook in the fridge so i just drank a cup of instant iced coffee and went to school, a few hours in, my tummy started to rumble, at first it wasn't too bad, i thought i was just hungry so i went to the canteen to buy something, and i eventually just bought some lemonade because my money was short, i never knew lemonade x iced coffee combo was a bad idea. Just an hour later, my stomach WAS really grumbling so bad. and that's when i realized, "oh shit". I tried holding it in because BECAUSE, if you can clearly illustrate what public toilet restrooms are, in Philippine schools, you'd know, there's always puke or either dirt in the floor, unflushed shit, and broken airways. There were only three stalls for the female restroom, there were no locks, the two other stalls were occupied, and the only available stall had a big hole in the door so you would have to cover it with some sort of towel or a napkin, unless you brought someone w u to go to bathroom together. And i was alone you see. Recess comes n i couldn't hold it together anymore, i ran to the restroom whilst covering the hole in the door with my right palm, i then released the most wettest FATTEST SHIT EVER. and you know in the Philippines, usually there is no towel paper in some restrooms. So i went to grab some water outside, (there's still shit on my butt cheeks) and low and behold, there was no running water, and what was left in the water jug was the most murkiest and filthiest water I've ever seen, not only was it disgusting as shit there was only about a quart of water left, and it was BLACK in color, with leaves n bugs still floating innit, at this point i was screaming in my mind, either i use the water to wash my bum or i use it to flush my horrendous shit on the toilet. well ofcourse I didn't want living microorganisms in my ass so i just instead flushed the toilet, leaving the restroom with fucking diahrea on my ass crack. And remember when i said there was just about an quart of water? Yeah i wasn't able to flush all my shit on the toilet so my stool was still pretty much floating on the toilet, I'm sorry to whoever had to clean that.

I want to read a bl story about a chubby person and a fit person, preferably one were the chubby person DOESN'T loose weight and the fit dude just loves him the way he is. Why? Because those stories are hella cute
