Like I feel bad for Su-ah but at the same time he lowkey set this system up himself. Of course it doesn’t justify Juhyeok’s behavior but Su-ah practically forced himself into Juhyeok’s life unwarranted/unwanted, scented him w/o consent, and made it so he needs Su-ah to function in society. Su-ah could literally decide to go for another omega but Juhyeok can’t do that as easily because Su-ah made him dependent on his pheromones and that literally could ruin his life and career. Additionally, Idk what Su-ah was expecting tbh, he built the relationship on manipulation (manipulating himself into Juhyeok’s life) so Juhyeok manipulating him back should be expected because that’s their foundation. A day of fun would have never fixed that, it takes months to re-build a foundation. Now obviously Juhyeok has his own problems, that’s been heavily highlighted and yeah it’s so cringe for him to ask for his cum but I think he has the worst end of it both because he has a hard time accepting himself as an omega, society is very much against omegas, and Su-ah pushing himself onto him just makes it worse + can’t live without his pheromones so forever reminded that he’s an omega. It’s a pretty generic toxic straight smut but I believe the author stated it’s one of her first works so I guess for those standards it’s pretty okay. I was actually surprised that the girl actually has a bit more brains, she genuinely tried to break it off with him. She shocked me when she still left and acknowledged that even though it was a misunderstanding that he was with his wife that it didn’t rlly matter because they still had an extremely toxic and unbalanced relationship. It’s just something I don’t often see since the girls are a lot more gullible and most of them would’ve felt guilty and went back immediately but at least at she has a little more backbone than I expected. But this by no means am I saying she’s a great character, def does have the generic y/n sort of personality but it’s def better than other stories. About the proportions, I agree it’s very awkward but unfortunately, this is probably the normal like tears on a withered flower or whatever it’s called. Honestly, if this author marketed the as a horror and psychological, it would’ve been a much better move because it feels that way since I’m reading some of these chapters wondering what’s going to happen to her, I’m not rlly interested in the romantic aspect since that charm was thrown out the window 10 seconds. I’ll probably still read for the plot because I already skipped a bunch of the smut panels.

I came to read the recent chapters because of the backlash but honestly I just read it and I had thought it would only be a side story of her and Ijikiel but it was both Lucas and him so it’s not terrible. I do wish they showed a solo wedding of her and Lucas because it’s painfully obvious they were meant to be but it isn’t that bad and idk if it deserves a lot of backlash
It’s sort of upsetting they won’t give us the full chapters making the story choppy because in the offices chapter 144+145 there is smut, yes a lot more detailed than the previous mature content but nothing showing his so I don’t think it’s too bad but is it really necesssry to cut basically the whole scene? I understand maybe the translators feel embarrassed translating it but most readers who read this are not kids dawg especially on a site like this, NSFW content is so common. I think it takes away from the story since there are a few realizations or things talked about during the scenes or even after where the translators skip.
I’ve never been the biggest fan of this story but I do enjoy it but I swear if the author makes hyesung beg for forgiveness or some crap like that….. Hes already been through so much and yeah, he didn’t want Byul because at the time he was basically being forced to keeping the baby…? To a man that he didn’t trust as he does now and that basically sexually assaulted him (chapter 19 in the original story). And while that’s of the past and Hyesung has forgiven everything and they’re happen now… I’d like Byul to be in his mother’s shoes and see how he’d handle it. Cause ik I’d be as upset and conflicted as Hyesung was. Of course Hyesung has done some wrongs but for Byul to contact Hyesung’s mother that abandoned him is actually crazy then to try to use his OWN trauma as a weapon.

I was reading this as like a good bad read because it’s so cringe it’s actually entertaining but then I was NOT expecting it to get me emotional. I was expecting it to be those harems with beastmen but then they KILLED the Lang and I was like WHAT?? Hopefully it’s temporary but the female lead is so infuriating.
