So I've been thinking... Asta’s five-leaf clover grimoire is said to house a devil—and we know that’s Liebe. But in the chapter where Asta’s mom, Licita, seals Liebe into her grimoire, something stood out to me.
The grimoire already existed.
Liebe didn’t create it—it was Licita’s before that. So… what if there was already a devil inside?
With Licita’s magic constantly draining life and mana, it’s possible the original devil inside was weakened and went dormant. When Liebe was sealed in, he became the dominant presence—but that first devil might still be there, quietly waiting.
If this is true, Asta could have TWO devils—Liebe and a hidden one we haven’t seen yet. Maybe that’s why his grimoire is so unique… and maybe his next power-up will be a dual-devil form or a new magic awakening.
Anyone else feel like this might be the case ?
