I don't remember the main story but it was related to animal shifters. In the special episode the MC (who is normal in main story) becomes a squirrel hybrid. He got his photo taken as a squirrel with his mouth stuffed with peanuts. Then he tried to take enormous amount of nuts from the office but ML caught him in the act. This is all i remember

After reading both, i can't lie they are same the only difference is that the mc of perfume the memory is not broke or an omega.
( Peppermint candy has a more comedy vibe other is just plain angst)
But i like the couple in this time line. They got the dynamic i like lol. It's fun to watch them interact
