This manhwa is such a high quality, life changing one which totally aligns with the morality dilemma I am facing day to day. The one who’s born with connections, privileges, the opportunity, carefully crafted environment from the start, made-up skills, but doesn’t mean she didn’t practice it enough. She played all the right tunes, not because she has connections, just because she is extremely into music, embracing it and practicing it. But let’s say, if those favorable predispositions were removed, will she be in the same place she’s right now? All the practices and lessons she’s given since a kid, the little adjustments she has acquired to optimize her potential, came from is a modifiable factor. If these shift, pretty much, the direction of her love for music could possibly change. She’s hyper-aware of that. In her case, being aware doesn’t bring you a peace of heart. I, myself also struggle with how the pre-installed advantages has shaped the perception of who I am to this day. Removing those advantages equally removes the portions of myself. These were integrated into my identity. It’s really beautifully portrayed in this manhwa that how she gets so uncomfortable being in a spotlight of ‘having a connection’ but under the surface, it doesn’t change the fact that she, herself also benefiting from it.
