Is it bad to say that I don’t want this story to have a good ending? I mean I do but I genuinely want gyeol to just kill those bastards and well he doesn’t seem the smartest so he’s mostly gonna end up getting caught and going to jail but shit I don’t care, I NEED THEM ALL TO SUFFER!!!
Yesueng deserves a good ending but- don’t fight me I don’t really care about gyeol I mean it’s not like I hate him, he’s not necessarily a bad guy he’s a little stupid in a cute naive way BUT if taking those guys down means gyeol has to go with them I’ll gladly take that sacrifice. Then again yesueng probs wouldn’t be happy with that outcome
Omg I thought I was alone in this but yeah I cannot click with Gyeol entirely, like there's sth in him that doesn't quite fit, he looks so incapable of doing anything atp, he's def not the smartest tool in the box, ok, he has maybe nice intentions, and his fists, but not a single ounce of power or logical thinking and every damn time I think he's gonna fuck up any second. Poor Yeseung got the lamest top. And seeing the next chapters yeah. Gyeol is just buring himself deeper and deeper in shit... I only trust the brother and the second in command guy (you'll see his true side in a bit) to get real stuff done.
Nah i think its kinda nice to have someone willing to deal with THAT much of a mess. Dont get me wrong i get the standard is like knight in shining armor joo jaekyung but this guy is BROKE and willing to do things the only way he knows how while throwing away his life.
I find it romantic that he isnt all gestures and his love language SHOWs ykwim. Plus like even if has the typical tsundre personality he is vocally and pathetically clear with what he wants.
Also this is just his personality- another non typical thing- because they mentioned he is like this about people he loves and he loves geniuenly. Unlike with other tops where its like all " i dont make love i fuck- until i fell in love with this random broke dude for no clear reason" yeah i think its refreshing
No, I get you mean. I kinda support the idea of a top that is not always capable and that cannot have control over stuff, gosh I melt with pathetic tops but not so much with Gyeol. Mainly bc I cannot see him organically helping Yeseung. Also most of the times he has his head on the gutter with Yeseung, the bar is so low for our poor boy tho, at least Gyeol stops if Yeseung asks him to. The thing is...he tends to get more in trouble than actually solving stuff, and seeing next chapters, I think he will do even more damage than mending...he just gets on my nerves. Yeseung is in pretty deep shyt, he really needs a pillar by his side and Gyeol is actually lacking quite a bit for now. But I give you that at least Gyeol looks genuine, as I say he has good intentions but that only get you so far with horrible people like that pdf old geezer. Thank god we have the supporting characters bc Gyeol alone cannot do shyt rn.
Tried reading this yesterday before going to bed and I was tired af. Which usually isn’t a problem when I read stories but I couldn't understand anything!! my brain couldn’t take in any information , it was like everything was mushed together, pages was missing and it just gave me a headache lol I reread chapter 30 like 3 times yesterday. Woke up today and decided to read it again and now I’m so confused on why I was confused yesterday
A lot of internal monologue is being cut. It can’t be fully shown so it makes very little sense. The only reason I know what’s going on is due to the novel. Like, there’s a reason the Esper picked up the phone. It wasn’t to simply be “freaky” or exhibitionistic. It was his way of publicly claiming the guide as “his”, and so no one would doubt that they are in fact in a relationship (iirc).

Oh well so well
