My heart kinda breaks for the FL before she regressed like nobody truly cared about her she was a pawn to everyone…and then she got the worst fucking ending like wtfuck. But I also hope she doesn’t go down a romance troupe later and starts acting all ditzy and stuff because she’s honestly been doing good ever since she switched but idgaf about the so called ML or his family either too because he was cold towards then ppl try to play it off like “Oh he was taught to only care for his family” like bruh dpmo he was grown asf, he could’ve treated her a little better and I’m not saying move the damn sun and stars for FL but definitely better than how she was treated..shit maybe she probably wouldn’t have been so insecure and wouldn’t have tried to harm the ML little sister.
He exploited the engagement while letting people talk of him like the poor total victim. Didn't bother keeping up minimal appearances, while using both the engagement and her not only as a buffer between his family and the emperor that they were in bad terms with, but even as a distraction from his brother's new precious sword (and no, I'm not that sure there wasn't any other "distraction" he could've thought of, instead of that one) and all while enjoying being cast in the role of the "victim" of all of it, in the eyes of society, stopping his brother's offer to replace him as the princess's fiance by saying she was "his responsibility", but still not stopping mere servants from ridiculing her name in his presence until he decided they "couldn't badmouth his future wife" because she'd suddenly proved herself worthy of the title of "future wife" by risking her lie to save his sister about his "offiial. So no, I don't think someone who makes a change of 180 degrees was reasonable in *either* behavior. Nor am I convinced he didn't "enjoy" any of the attention, given how "shocked" he acts now that she doesn't give it to him, anymore.
Wtf going on…bro I thought this would be some regular ass drama romance story and this shit is weird. Not even the good kind of weird where you can see it from different sides it’s just WEIRD and then you got mf side chapters where they having sex in front of the baby like wtf is wrong with y’all like why is she acting dickmatized and he trapped her and KEPT ON TRAPPING HER like omg.
