I agree with you on some level, especially in this case where it really wasn’t fleshed out why Yeo-dam loved the emperor in their first life. He said it was love at first sight but that’s a flimsy reason (imo) for loving someone who abused him in so many ways. As I see it, it’s a case Stockholm syndrome.
However, that’s as far as I can agree with you - in paper. Real life, which i’m not sure if you include in your opinion, is much complex than the world of this webtoon. There are various factors at play (e.g. upbringing, childhood and other emotional trauma, social anxiety, gaslighting, etc.) when someone goes back to their abusers and choosing not ask for help. I personally believe that we can’t judge a victim and their decisions, especially if we’re fortunate enough not to have walked in their shoes. The only thing we can do (and we’re allowed to do) is give a helping hand.
Basically, MC is a gay who is being manipulated by his manager pimp to sell his body to every guy who is willing to pay for him (even guys who has fetish of beating him up). MC finds nothing wrong with it since manager dude 'accepts' him for being gay so that justifies him letting manager sell him and keep all the money ... and what happens to manager in the story ... nothing ... MC quits and doesn't even get angry and instead apologizes for having 'relied' on him this whole time ... what does seme do to manager even when finding out the truth ... nothing ... basically being evil is more rewarding ... hope the author gets 'sold' too like in the story and the person who sells them is never captured since they seem to have also forgotten justice in their story too ... trash plot. One star and glad I didn't pay for this shit.

Story is basically about friend who unknowingly has a crush on MC and struggles with his feelings towards MC and MC not telling his that he is gay despite being 'best friends' ... lol ... so basically friend outs him and cries why MC is not a good friend in not ever telling him that MC was gay and that he has had a crushed on friend's brother this whole time ... blah blah ... afterwards friend gets drunk, MC has to help take him home, friend asks to sleep with MC as replacement of his brother, weird plot logic where MC agrees and they bang despite the MC having just been rejected by his lifetime crushed a day ago and that he has always seen his friend as just a friend, is able to allow that friend to fuck him (despite it also being his first time) ... blah blah after they fuck again at his home, they realize someone how they both love each other ... end of season 1.
Funny how all these years of feelings the MC had for the friend's brother can be switched to the friend in just 2 fuck session ... if I didn't know better, I would say this plot was more like those hentai NTR stories where sex wins ... (now imagine if MC gets raped and experiences a better sex experience, would he then like that person more cause it seems like at this point, the reason he liked the friend as a lover is basically b/c of sex ... )

She is entitled to decide her own life, it's her choice to jump or not. So I also don't feel sad for her at all. She chose to end her life because of her own unhappiness. Her unhappiness didn't stem from uncontrolable situations, only that she couldn't get the things she want and the life to be 'her' perfect life. Well sucks, life doesn't always give you everything you want, if you are going to be a big baby about it and then kill yourself over that when you have looks, money, etc. but are just missing out on not being able to recieve the love of the person you like, then that's on you.
