just go for the "new" site that popped up yesterday (xcat) but a lot of people are saying it’s a scam so keep that in mind. but at the same time, it can’t be a scam, since the database is 1.1 with the OG’s one. there is like 99% of chances that it’s a rebranded version from the dev or from someone who has access to the dev’s local hosts and files. you can still access the site with your usual login info, archive your lists and that’s all, even if it’s scam, it buys you time. I don’t know how long they plan on keeping that new version active (still a chance that the dev goes inactive again) and what is their purpose, no one knows so don’t ask. plus, it already happened once in the past, so keep that in mind too. but at least, you can still access the site and your lists for now and even read the latest chapters. and if people start uploading there again, everything can go back to normal as long as the site stays active (nothing related to legal stuff. as long as the dev decides to work on the website and stays untraceable, as long as they have the funds to, the website can stay active for as long as they want so worrying about gatekeeping is useless too.) but even if it doesn’t stay active for a long time or if no one decides to upload there, it still gives you time to archive everything from your list.

and mggo isn’t that behind, they just upload with different titles. but if the new bat site stays active for weeks and months and years, it will be safe to say that bat was never down and they just revamped it, just like a lot of anime sites did so yall can safely go back there (once again, we don’t know the why or the how or anything of this story. what matters right now, is that everyone from there can access their list)

AND PLEASE from now on, (for anyone seeing this comment), stop talking about this stuff. i’m tired of seeing people panicking, it makes me anxious too. we’ve been through worse times back in 2021 and i don’t want to feel like back then again. and y’all need to understand that there are a lot of reasons for a website to go down, definitely not just legal issues. about bat, it seems like a huge misunderstanding, about mggo, for now it’s safe, so worrying about something we don’t have control over would just end up jinxing it. let’s wait 1 week, 1 month, 1 year and see what happens (same for the new bat site). everything will be fine chat, y’all just need to chill.
