3.5/5 Stars - Very refreshing premise and narrative. It starts out a bit shaky, but I really love how their dynamics become and how they grow as a couple. Although I enjoy a slow burn and a relationship that develops over time, I wish there would’ve been more intimate moments and dialogue with them. Somewhere along the way he plot loses it‘s momentum and the last chapters are WAY too rushed, but I am glad that the author at least finished the story and they got their happy endings!
I agree. For me, the story started to falter when Glunn "loses his feelings," or whatever that was. Up until that point, I was devouring each chapter, one after the other, completely captivated by the plot. After that, it became sluggish and never fully recovered, although it did gradually improve. The ending was nice, rushed, and a bit cheesy, but it leaves you with a sense of closure and happiness in the characters' lives. All in all, very nice, very cute. It didn't feel like a waste of time at all, so that good.

3.5/5 Stars — Honestly, if it weren’t for the TL notes this would not have been as fun of a read! The story and characters are nice, I like the dynamics between the main couple and that Yun is not a wuss. Also Ragnar is a major plus sksks
All in all it’s a really nice read, I definitely do recommend, but I‘m sure I won’t be re-reading it, cause there’s nothing more than „nice“ to come back to
3.5/5 Stars (short) — My dear god Asha is damn gorgeous! The story, for the most part, is nicely told and comprehensive, although I wish the author would‘ve elaborated more. Mostly it jumpes from one scene to another, but it‘s not always fluidly. The smut is very graphic and juicy - and i mean that literally, there‘s lot of bodily fluids - and although I really love the art, the smut feels a bit shallow, since there’s no set up for intimacy and passion — but that’s just my personal opinion and preference. I think the premise is interesting and it could’ve been told in more detail, suspension, character development and relationship building, but all in all it‘s a good, interesting read and short story!
i completely agree! the art carried hard, the author and artist is amazing at drawing intensely raw and emotional scenes. but the pacing... is not great, the plot is pretty simple, unfolds conveniently, and spoonfeeds us the twists, and the themes were not explored in a particularly interesting or subversive way. like the idea that the top's father abused him bc he was jealous, and the ghosts staying in the mansion due to their obsession and passing it on to the top is very interesting, but the story doesn't go in depth enough imo. The characters cast were ok and not really utilized at all; the story tells us that the characters consider the mansion as a haven bc outside world sucks, and that the bottom is a really good master, but it never shows us that. The rules that employees have to follow is also an interesting concept, but the story never does anything with it, except for establishing the initial creepiness of the mansion. The romance is ok and ngl mild, despite its interesting premise; the bottom falls in love bc the top is nice and reminds him of his ex-lover and the top falls in love bc he is compelled to, throw in some yearning of immortal x mortal dynamic, and that's literally it. It doesn't develop into smth truly well, exciting and deep and intense (except for during the smut scenes), and imo falls short of its potential bc the idea that people of a family are always bound to madly fall in love with the bottom is so interesting and teeming with potential drama/angst, but it unfortunately doesn't go beyond that step. Nevertheless, interesting idea, and i think the story could be better if it were turned into a longer series and leaned into the mystery and creepiness. (ima also really curious abt the bottom's relationship with the top's grandmother and what happend there)

3/5 Stars — The start is bumpy, the narrative chaotic, I really don’t need the SA and don’t find it funny, but after around ch 25 when their dynamics change and they actually start to at least somewhat care for each other, it‘s an okay, sometimes even funny read. 4,0/5 Stars — Main couple is 10/10 but 2nd sadly couple didn’t catch me at all, I wish the author would’ve kept the focus on Heesu and Seungwon for this one and separated Dahm and Sunwoo for the sides or a short story. The first half of the main story especially was great and it felt so genuine how Heesu developed his feelings and how absolutely cute and adorable they both are. I felt the intermissions with 2nd couple sadly dragged the whole momentum of Heesu and Seungwon down, that‘s why it‘s a 4/5 Stars for me.
This leaves such a bad taste and it’s damn freaking annoying. Romanticizing SA, no critical commentary on what is considered „beautiful“ and what you can do to a person that doesn’t meet this stereotype, bullying, toxic and very problematic side couples — nah bro, definitely not my cup of tea
Having SA in a series doesn’t mean it’s being romanticized, excuse me?? Yes I was also upset they didn’t address it more in the end but it was not romanticized. It would’ve been romanticized if the MC ended up with the dude who SA’d him, he didn’t. Jinx romanticizes SA, Roses and Champagne romanticizes SA, not Neves Understand.

oh only if you knew... I've seen so many videos and recommendations of Jinx under greenflag videos NON SARCASTICALLY..... There also was a reddit post with a person explaining how SA is extremely triggering for them and asked for BL recommendations without SA... there were like 5 comments recommending jinx. People (or atleast the crazy fans) think the SA doesnt count because dan gets paid for it. Like honey there's a reason why sex working is illegal...

3.5/5 Stars — Two guys with parental issues, a superiority and inferiority complex and the desire to (be in) control in a desperate love/hate relationship.
The description of their personalities and emotions is railing you in immediately (don‘t worry, the translation gets a lot better after a couple of chapters) the premise is interesting and the plot twist was definitely twisting, BUT I think the "main" story (= in the machine) should’ve been shorter and the ending and explanation clearer and with more chapters. We spend so much fictional time in the machine, but the wist ist only explained in a few flashbacks and the real time got only a few panels. Therefore this leaves me with an unsatisfied feeling. Like being extremely thirsty but getting one sip of water only.
4.5/5 Stars — What a masterpiece! I love how the author shows all those deep emotions, desires and human nature. Sak and Lima are such an unconventional couple, but they truly feel so much for each other and I absolutely adore them! I will definitely reread this and I hope for more stories with such deep emotions! The missing 0.5 is only because I am missing some king of a conclusion regarding the academy and all the other characters we met during the chapters, otherwise I love how to story really centers around Sak and Lima and does not drag out.
4/5 Stars PWP — Can‘t take the story serious because of the start and the permanent smut sksk but as a PWP it‘s really good and they are a sweet and non-toxic green flag couple (apart from the dubious beginning)
