You can’t remember specific friends tho? It would make sense if they only met a few times but they met up a lot and even made promises with each other I still remember elementary school friends that I made memories with and I’m 30

Yeah same. Like I rmb maybe 1% of the people in my childhood. The memory is worse with anxiety and depression. And we know seonghyun had that in spades.
Seung-hyeon has said in a previous chapter that he does not remember most if not all of the younger kids he knew in his childhood. He definitely roped Chaejun into that too because he thought Chaejun was much younger because of how small he was. And Seung-hyeon was quite young himself, a developing brain can forget a lot of stuff as new memories get created. Plus with all the shit he went through from middle to highschool on top of the fact he felt unloved at home, it makes sense he would hardly remember a kid he never saw again as an elementary schooler.
Gotta say that was a bit underwhelming I sure do hope there’s side stories bc that wasn’t enough sorry author-nim but we need more of them finally being together
