If you like more psychological stuff i think this is the webtoon for you, because personally i dont find the appeal in the "romance" but what's kept me so interested was the thriller/psychological part
initially i was turned off because of chapter 1's intro and i was going to drop it, but jeez seeing heeseo's behavior and the two's dynamic is interesting to me
solving the mystery behind heeseo's mom's death, heeseo's obsession vs taekyung's leniency
as a psychology major id be dumb if i didnt find it at least a little intriguing
The way the 2nd season started, I kinda dropped it cuz how can a prosecutor get treated like tht, cuz I was wondering he had many other ways to tackle heeseo. Anyway so I started again and it's going pretty well cuz I nvr expected romance here rather the murder mystery piqued my interest. It's complicated and I'm here for it.
So, what I got from this chapter is that Shin is very self conscious. He's trying to create his "ideal world", one where everything is "perfect", meaning that he himself must be "perfect" as well in order to meet these ideals.
Being with Wolfgang must ruin this ideal world, like how in real life, there are still people who can't accept homosexuals. So, assuming that this also applies here, more people would probably be more accepting of a heterosexual relationship rather than a homosexual one, making a heterosexual relationship "ideal" for the king to have in Shin's perspective.
You also have to remember that Shin does care about Wolfgang, a lot. He fears any harm that may come to Wolfgang, Shin's "perfect world" would theoretically keep Wolfgang safer, which is probably why Shin would see his "ideal world" as "perfect".
Though, it probably won't end up that way.
This is just what I took from this chapter and the past chapters, feel free to oppose this idea and tell me about what you think. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Ngl, unlike most manhwas, this ending was actually pretty satisfying. Like, I feel fulfilled.
Here U Are was the first BL I've read, and that was before I knew mangago was a thing. At that time, I was reading it on mangarock.
Anyways, I absolutely LOVED this manhwa, 10/10 would read again (▰˘◡˘▰)
Amazing work, author!
THE DAMN FUCKIN TATTOO I SWEAR-
Maybe it's the placement of the tattoo, or maybe the coloring, but it's ugly as hell (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Your dad must've presured you into getting that tattoo or sumthin, because there's no way in hell that you took a look at his tattoo and said "wow, I want that print ON MY ENTIRE FUCKING LEG"

if youre considering dropping this because of the ML or because their relationship is frustrating, trust me it gets more than better
the first 20ish chapters was so hard to get through, it was so embarrassing and frustrating but oh my god its so worth it in the end
theyre so genuinely cute and endearing!! drama and misunderstandings dont linger for long and the communication is sooo refreshing!!
