There were so many unclear and unexplained parts, and instead of developing the aspects that could have made the story truly strong, the author just glossed over them. At the same time, there was an excessive focus on sexual assault, which made the story feel cheap and shallow. The top novel ranking is honestly undeserved. The second male lead wasn't someone with a hidden love interest or a complex personality—he was a complete psychopath. They totally ruined the story, even though it had the potential to be a masterpiece.
