I’m so impressed how this author portrays family life. It’s complicated and challenging and there’s no fairytale ending. It’s work. It’s worth it, but sometimes it’s easy to skate over the difficult parts in fiction.

That said, since it’s fiction, I’m looking forward to a happy outcome since I love them all hahah

I get the feeling that the girl was a drug mule. I could be totally wrong though. Either that or she’s making stuff. Doesn’t seem reasonable that they’d straight up kill her.
