Can reallyyyy relate to Madoka here, and it's been years since I've graduated high-school and a whole year since graduating college. Can't really beat yourself up too much over it, just try to involve yourself in volunteering, secure at least one job, meet new people and simply explore what actions light a fire in you. Just make sure to try to keep yourself from remaining stagnant to the best of your abilities, otherwise you'll drive yourself nuts with hopelessness.

Honestly they could've handle him pulling out of the mission better. Sure they didn't expect her to go on a determined manhunt for him, but they should have staged an accident or something while the two were on an outing and have the husband "die" and stage witnesses and hospital staff telling her that he's dead or have him act his butt off to say his final words to her. That way she'd at least have some semblance of closure. Poor girl is going through it.
