Things were going to the mc's wishes way too well more than halfway in so I thought it was just slightly better slop, but damn things got real dark. Some of the scenes got me emotional fr.
Also i noticed the flow from s1 was better than s2, and it made me think the main artist changed, but the art was consistent so why? Turns out the storyboard artist did change. Kinda a shame because s1 storyboarder was better at making things hit harder

The art is so fucking good and the chilling moments are legit chilling. Insane shit. I love how she's just taking this as a romance fantasy isekai slop but for everyone she's an Eldrich horror being, and even then, she's very complex as a character because her treating this as a novel isekai is obviously her way of coping from being thrown into another world and being alone. Like yeah most people who read this type of stories would definitely try to cope the way she does, because the mental pressure of that being your new reality is enough to drive anyone insane— and *everyone* being able to tell that she's looking at them like they're just lines on a page is icing on this beautiful cake
