Pilaf will take his family heirloom (the one that is connected to the spirit realm) to "cool off" deborah, basically punishing her (hes very stupid) isidor happens to see it and in his attempt to rescue her, he breaks the heirloom trapping him and deborah inside. When deborah did not return, her father immobilized his knights to find her. It wasn't long before the house learns that the culprit was pilaf (there were witneses) back to deborah and isidor, since she cant use magic, she suffers from the spirit realm. So Isidor carries her when she could no longer walk due to exhaustion. I think she also accepts his feelings. Back on the outside, pilaf's father is furious that pilaf took the heirloom. Hes being pressured by two founding families to cough up his son. When this entire thing wraps up, he accepted the terms to banish his son to the country side. Yes, deborah's father made that happen, he is THAT angry. He basically said I dont want that boy near my daughter.

Btw Duke Semour is absolutely mad at isidor since when the two got out of the portal, he was still carrying deborah in his arms. As usual, the duke doesnt accept him and tells him to put his daughter down. It was a riot.

So deborah is actually the reincarnation of the Goddess in the story. In her first life shes the Goddess, when she died her soul went to korea (remember in her memories she says shes too nice for her own good?) Then finally her soul returned to her original land on her third life.
