Enjoyed the series up till the last 10 chapters. Then all this drama, anxiety and un-needed jealousy came into play. I get that MC was new to relationships and wanted to make sure no bad attention came to the ML, but he says such shitty things due to his insecurities and constantly gives such mixed messages only to turn around and feel hurt and the victim. Other than that, good art, some good slow burn, enjoyable smut.

#1 I cannot stress this enough, if you EVER find yourself in a "relationship/situationship" or marriage like this. LEAVE. Do not stay. Ever. Open up another bank account, slowly start putting together an emergency fund, get a fast "leave" bag. Don't ever look back. Please, put yourself first. There are helplines, supportive housing and resources for you. You are not alone and you are not stuck. I promise you CAN escape.

#2: it's the friends who suffer the most in this comic, not the MC or ML. They have to watch their friends get abused (mentally, verbally and physically), manipulated, blackmailed, loose weight, completely drop out of school, get stalked, they have their own safety jeopardized and take a beating (twice), become shells of themsleves, loose weight, loose contact with them for weeks/months and more things. Seriously. The friends are put through the emotional wringer and I don't think they are ever really appreciated or thanked for caring, for being supportive or for even their patience.

3# this needs the psychological tag. MC and ML are both so shitty to each other and to other people. Neither of them are good people. I really wish it was a different ending and I hate it has the "romance" tag.

Don't let the art fool you into thinking this is a cute story. MC is a doormat who has learned to just endure and "suffer through" so of course he's the toxic trope "I'll wait for you Hyung". Meanwhile our ML gets drunk and is assaulted by his best friend, never seems to find out about it, and instead uses best friend as an emotional and physical crutch to escape and run away from his feelings for the MC. But don't worry, somehow MC has a change if heart and of course ML is still waiting and hanging on hope....no thank you :/

I got to chapter 80 and I'm dropping this.

WHY is this rated so high?! It deserves 2 stars (it's the art that saves this series). The "plot" and characters are awful.

Suha is SUCH a frustrating character. I appreciated that he was promiscuous and hesitant to love. But OMG he is a spineless character who is constantly assaulted, manipulated, thrown around and a simple trophy or hole to use. And he ALLOWS THIS treatment.

It started off good and with promise. Then the author got bored and thought "oh, I'll use rape and drugging for some conflict". Excuse me? All Suha and MC do is have sex, and I found myself getting bored (imagine, being bored of smut). Kudos to the people who kept going but I'm out.

This was on my "to read list" for years and I'm glad I was able to finish it.

Great story, fun facts, detailed art, flawed characters and very real topics: homophobia, stalking, gaslighting, career jeopardy, social out casting.

That being said. I didn't love the violence ? The constant hitting, slapping, punching, all for comedy ? Maybe it was a sign of the times when that trope WAS funny, but...meh.

Also, why are only the women (Ms Song, Kim, Minsook) the only ones with flaws? The male characters are not as complex or have to work through their issues like the women did. The men seem kinda boring in comparison (besides our MC). Oh well. Still a great read and a happy ending

I love how relatable this story is. So refreshing there's no CEO boyfriend to snap his fingers and make things easy, or a rich millionaire who can solves everything with money. Watching them struggle on their own and together was really heartbreaking because we have all had struggles and low points, and I'm so glad I had those experiences and I'm glad they learned to love those old and hard moments too.

My two issues: the need to have jealousy. To make someone "happy" that their lover was jealous. I hate it. Jealously always ate me alive and I never found it charming or cute, if it was me or someone else was going through it. Second, the hitting. Slapping the face. The kicking. The slapping of arms. I dunno, as someone who went through the violence from someone else, I'm surprised MC is so okay to do that to his partner? And it doesn't matter if they are both men, or if others don't consider this as "violence" I really didn't like it or how constant it was.

Otherwise great comic and story.

I was enjoying it until chapter 20+. MC repeatedly tells ML he WILL NOT bottom, and then he's forced to? He tells him to stop, kicks him, punches him, to stop his advancements in other chapters but the ML still gets what HE wants. It doesn't seem very believable to me, that a guy who is strictly a top decides to give in and doesn't even prep himself or tell the ML what to do or how to make it pleasurable for a man. He acts like a complete virgin despite having a sexual past, and it's lame. Also the fact that the ML then continues to have sex with him after their first time being very dub-con is also very...unsavory. and of course under the guise of "it feels so good, let's go again" gross.

Maybe it gets better but I'm dropping it after chap 30

I'll admit, I wasn't super keen on the art at first. But if you have a compelling story, with dynamic characters who learn and recognize their flaws, grow out of their insecurities and learn to forgive, communicate and learn to live with their regrets and mistakes, who cares about the art. It was great to see just how both characters suffered and how they mutually came together again. Skyler's redemption arc is very good.
Stick with it, the story is very touching and relatable.

I will say, the tone changes in the side stories, where Yongdeok doesn't seem as affectionate as he previously was? And the art style has changed as well, looking more like their other series (Alpha Buddy).

For an author to do such a fantastic job making a character (Seon Woo) so unlikeable and awful for season 1, only to turn around and make them the main character of season 2 is a total power move. They REALLY put in the effort and time to make Seon Woo a complicated character, who is deeply flawed but deserving of love. This is how you write a redeeming character arc. Other mangas should take note.

This had potential (male pregnancy, nice art, mystery) but the confinement and violent rape was really horrible, and it sounds like there's more rape and assault going forward ? No thanks. Maybe I'll come back to the comments section and hope someone has written out the whole plot.
