Had so much potential but no, just HAD to have rape and assault. And a lot of it. Wasn't enough to just have it shown once, had to commit to multiple panels and pages. Plus the rapist gets off easy with a "I won't forgive you". For a Yakuza comic that didn't shy from violence, you'd think the LEAST that could happen would be a punch in the balls or loosing a finger. But of course not. Everyone continues on as if it didn't happen.

14 year old me would've eaten this slop up for DAYS. 30+ year old me sees it for the cringe that it is. I like to think that story telling (mostly Yaoi/Omegaverse) has come a long way, but the tropes seem to be foundational: shitty bland heartless ML, pathetic sub MC, throwing people on beds/hard floors, attempted SA attacks that are just completely ignored, the constant "rescue" of helpless MC, and the "stay away he's MiNE" possessive crap where the MC also continues to complain about the omegas smell. Sigh

First off, the mom needs to suffer. I don't care if her husband left, what she did was endangerment and the pressure she puts on both her son and son inlaw is awful. I HATE that she get what she wants.

Felt bad for the counselor who got thrown into the chaos. I'm glad he was able to get out, he deserved better.

What I'm most disappointed about is that, they wanted to take their time, they wanted to be gentle with each other, they wanted to do it on their terms. They were waiting for each other. But no. Because it's omegaverse, sex HAS to be violent and it HAS to just be pound pound rough sex. Because "pheromones" and "instinct". Sigh. Feel like we were robbed of a very intimate and loving moment between two people figuring out what they other liked and exploring pleasure together. But that's omegaverse...
