I can't say it’s the best thing I read but it’s not bad... there was so many things going on here behind the curtains and everything bring into the stage little by little...
Both ML Rupert and Laliette has their own traumatic past that shape them as the human being they became. Our MC Laliette may seem like those cute, innocent, naive FL, but in reality she is more twisted. When she first encounter with Rupert and serve him as his maid the glimpse of her cracked mentality can be shown. She maybe timid but she is headstrong with her own believes, though slowly as she accompanied Rupert she could understand him and the cause of the downfall of her cherished family..
Rupert, though we can see him as a rough around the edge but fundamentally he is kind, gentle and thoughtful person to his own people but acts rude to survive the harsh Palace environment. After meeting with Laliette he changes and learns how to be a 'Human' and cherish her..
There is some political things on going, whom we first thought as allies turned out enemies and some enemies turned out to be allies. Both characters are flawed and they suffer their own pain and learns how to let go and hope for a new life with together.. They learns so many things on their way to accepting each other, but eventually thorough all the hardship, pain and struggle came the sweetness of life we wait for.
The art is so pretty that is made me read it till the Very last..
I read this Manhwa without spoiling my-self even once, and it’s so rare for me to do so... I was so into the flow of it’s story telling that it didn’t made me bore for even a moment... I know this one talks about feminism in the era where women were restricted and deprived of their right. Lucius the l, empower the woman he loves, changes the law of the empire because Paulina didn’t want to loose everything she had earned with her blood and sweat.. It's fantasy that's why we love this, but we know it was not true to the time... But I don't mind it, rathe I welcome it.
Here, so many power struggle and inner palace politics got over shadow by the fact that our Paulina is fighting against a patriarch society and has to prove her worth even when she is, more capable than her comrades, as a woman... I like the lighthearted ambience, where so many heavy things were on going, because it made me laugh while reading the serious situation...
I felt like Duke Seke suited the position of the typical ML who is rude and arrogant with his flawless perfectionist in everything he does then fall for Cekel... In Rofan, the kind of ML and FL generally got depicted Duke and duchess Seke are embodiment of that... where like Duke Seke who is haughty and capable of everything and control even the Emperor but become soft and couldn’t keep his cool when it comes to his beloved just like them... And the kind of emperor they had to deal with who is soft but cunning and so calculative just like Lucius...
Here is nothing to dislike if you read it keeping it in mind the period of time it deals with...
what pique my interest most is Herman's part of the story... rather than main plot in this story, villains part of the story is interesting enough to make you read it till end...
It was okay read, nothing to be overly enjoyable that made you submerged into it...
Sometimes it gave me burden like I have to just finished it to put it complete section... The impulse to complete it made me read it rather that the story it-self...
It was such a refreshing read. Once in a while this kinda read made my heart giggly-giggly and mind so light...
Now that I get my enough dose of heart-ful laughter, I am gonna go to my angst (where I belong) but before that...
My baby Xu Yu is just so adorable... She is the whole reason I enjoy reading it so much... Though ML is good on his part, but he couldn’t surpass xu yu's eccentrics... She is just loveable.
No one forced me to read it and I got no one to complained about whatever I just finished reading. It just that it drained a lot off energy out of me as I invested my-self to read this. This kinda story always had a bad impact on my mental health, but, I just cannot not read it, as I am too susceptible to this...
About our ML and FL there is no one better to heal them no matter what the hell they went through and author show it precisely. They are just too insufferable and the pique example of toxicity and savageness of the very castle...（￣へ￣）

I know, I would comeback here again and again to read this one, particularly.
If I say so, this manhwa is one of the best work of this genre. I couldn’t hate any single part of this manhwa, let alone any character. Author-nim just made every character with their own individuality, be it our main character or antagonist (is there really an antagonist!) you would sympathies with them. It’s praise worthy how artist depicts the emotions on every character, the pain, sorrow, sadness, happiness, heartbreak, and LOVE.
I was so engrossed while reading this, that when a character get older I felt like I just live a life off their, and now they get older. When you get attached to the characters so much you are bound to feel this sadness (I felt like Mika, who watched Hanna grow old and felt love for her) It was a beautiful but painful feelings.
I'm happy Hanna and Saho found happiness they deserves but my heart ached for Yoowoon. Why is it that he had to live a life with the memory that was long Lost!!
I wanna know what is the story about??
Should I be disappointed about it or not what! as I'm not sure.
The whole thing started because of the King the Father who is sick and seeking for his daughter and we couldn’t see him for once.
Is it me who is getting old enough that this childishly story annoy me enough that I couldn’t silently digest it any more.

I read it a long time ago, at that time my heart aches for Youngwon for some reason I couldn’t decipher, after rereading it I felt why my heart aches at that time...
It is way more intricate than it seems, Youngwon was born that way where he feels he must put Jooin first before all, as for how he was raised by his parents specially by his father could be a question. But his father was not normal, as he feels how he lives is the best he could ever be, and when they couldn’t understand the need of what they truly want then is it possible to distinguishe between— I wonder.
So, when Youngwon accept Se-eun proposal after Jooin kinda push he must felt he had to do it because that Jooin wanted...
I can't blame Jooin who feels every emotions of her can affect Youngwon and if she told him she liked him he was bound to obey not to reciprocate her feelings and how could she burden the person she loves...
How painfully author-nim described all those inner monologue of Youngwons that it hurts real good. When a person who couldn’t understand what he should feel or what the real him, is his feelings even his own free will or it was the feelings of a subordinate... is so agonizing, it felt like I was seeing someone to gradually decaying a little by little...
So, in the end I couldn’t be more happy that they could overcome the hardship... Sojin and Junho are the best type of friend one could have in their life...
Why did we lost this type of Manhwa these days...
