All the characters are really well-written, and the intrigue of the inner court politics are really fascinating and well-written. One would hardly think that they would find the eponymous villainess to be so endearing, but here we are! I still do not like the male leads to be very honest. Looking forward to reading how the so-called sewer rat blooms into the butterfly’s equal!
I get how Wendy could transform into Wendy Belserion mode because she enchanted the remnants of Irene’s magic into her, but how did Erza get access to that power when she can’t use enchant magic?
Mitsuba was not a character I particularly cared about, and the author did not really help convince readers why we should care for her. Dropping her backstory all at once instead of gradually (like they did with Yoichi) is really bad writing.

This was a long and beautiful journey, and I wish we could get more of the Dark Dragon and the Happy Hungry Bunch....
