I like this I really do. the concept is new and there was a lot of ways this could've went but for lack of a better word, the male lead is just stupid. I mean not to disrespect anyone's tastes. How can someone be this dense? I know, its because he's not a real person and I'm reminded of that every time he doesn't understand something simple. (because the author wants it to be overly dramatic) she literally told him her woes and he just ... didn't understand. EX. HOW CAN U GET MARRIED LEAVE DURING THE WEDDING NIGHT AND NOT COME BACK AFTER A WHILE AND EXPECT HER TO UNDERSTAND?! Some people may say "but he did it for her" or some thing like that but then why not be a normal person and tell her. like I said I know why its cause the author could think of a better way to move the plot forward

i don't really care for the emperor but I gotta hand it to the author this is more .... idk realistic, I guess cause the emperor's motives are always what's best for the country even the part about marrying the mistress and what not since be believed Navier is infertile, and the fact that when ruling a kingdom love for your partner isn't important but he recognizes that she the best for the job.
