Mc is such a bird but goddamn can I relate to him with. Like at first I was like what kind of idiot would let someone treat you like that. Then I put my gay ass in his shoes and remember that one girl that treated me like shit and gold at the same time and yeah I'd be way worse than him if she gave me the chance

I like that the new guy is very respectful of his feelings he isn't forcing it and would step away if he's in a relationship. Bare minimum but hardly ever shown in media especially since writers try to make everyone except the ml horrible to make the ml look better. I love that the writer took the time to actually show why the ml is the ml and gave the new guy an innocent crush without making him the bad guy of the century.

She actually a psycho, id say I hope she goes away but she already dead. Poor Ena I hope she's able to be reborn and that that psycho is stuck as a Cupid for eternity.

When he said "best friends" I genuinely thought he was an idiot. But that last panel is making me think that he said it to test the waters and hopefully get Mr. Denser than osmium to say that he isn't content with the best friend title but obviously failed because he's an actual idiot that never had or wanted any friends so he doesn't understand his own feelings or the difference in friendship/relationship tiers by a long shot much less be able to express his emotions.

Or maybe I'm just trying to believe that the accumulated IQ between the two of them isn't in the negatives...

Jungseo is geniuenly such a good written character. Despite his youthful appearance his personality and actions truly show that he is an adult. It's so rare to see an adult bl mc actually acting their age, instead of it always feeling like they're still a teen that can't control their emotions, complete pushovers, and/or have a childlike naivety.

I just absolutely love how calm he is when he needs to be without removing his personality. He is bright and bubbly but he is also down to earth and gets exhausted and irritated with work and Hyosin but he always handles those feelings with maturity. Even when he starts to realize that he likes Hyosin, he never puts that relationship over his own well-being. He thinks about the consequences of starting a relationship with someone who is freeloader and bum without being completely blinded by nostalgia. Above all else I love that he can be mature without being stoic and hurt by the world because I feel that when a bl makes a mature mc they're always cold hearted and unexpressive because of their dark past.

I feel so bad for Jungseo being sleep deprived is no joke, I completely understand the way he reacted. He was awoken to Hyosin, who is LWK always being dramatic and rude to everyone, yelling at his boss and being manhandled. He tries to calm him down inside and understand why he's acting like that but instead Hyosin starts spouting actual nonsense to someone who is barely staying conscious. Listen when I'm sleepy I don't even care what in the world is going on bc I can deal with it the next day and Jungseo is doing the same thing.
I can understand Hyosin too IF he were a teenager. It's crazy that they're the same age but Jungseo is a million times more mature and levelheaded like try to imagine if the roles switched it wouldn't be the same at all.

* side note that has nothing to do with what happened this chapter since I alr commented.* But MC and MLs dynamic reminds me sm of bugs and daffy's dynamic especially since mL is such a bum and freeloader LWK made his personality as a huge bum in the first chapters way more bearable

I love Jongwu sm Not him just accepting that response without forcing him or anything. He's so hopeless about his love ever being requited. I lwk wanna see Changdeok getting jealous and taking back what he said.
