Frankly I hate when authors makes the top saying that he wouldn't mind bottoming but when it comes to it, he suddenly goes back to his words.
Like, if the author actually doesn't want them to be switch, then just don't make them say things they doesn't really think.
It kinda leave a sour taste when the bottom then ask to switch roles and he's forced to stay in the same position. There's no problem with only being a top or bottom only, but all the switch discourse without it ever happening is plain frustrating
