Which chapter were you in? Also, judging the whole narrative from just a few chapters is a bit careless. The characters haven't even been presented completely, and this story has some of the best written character arcs for the girls. It's lovely. (=・ω・=)
I've read far into chapter 98 before dropping. I cant believe I gave it that much chances. Usually I'm dropping after 30 chapters in. Idk if it's the manhwa's fault cuz sometimes they purposefully left out so many things from a novel they adapted and the story reads as shallow.
Eh, i like slow paced stories as much as i like fast pace, gives me time to get emotionally invested, and the intriguing personal secrets kept during it were good enough for me, the anticipation of the perceived betrayal and the other characters theories about what's happened and about the main characters motives were fun to watch, the dread was real, the conflict felt palpable emotionally, but i get that it's not for everyone. I like introspective stories with lots of interpersonal stakes
