Everyone is out to get her and she’s all like “I need to treat them with kindness!” Like girl you almost died TWICE stand tf upppp She met Kitty and again I agree with her saying Hazel needs to slap tf out of everyone who kept sabotaging her.

In the donghua, she was written as a resourceful person who can be independant and stands her ground while in this story, she’s helpeless and cant do shit without a man. Like what? You can tell whoever wrote her this way genuinely think they deserve to live.
I love how Lloyd in the novel acts milder compared to this chaotic one in the manhwa so you can read both and can still experience different narrative style.

Theyre very true to the plot. What I mean by the “milder” part is just Lloyd acts more mature and elaborates his plans like an actual leader rather than being sporadic in the manhwa. The side characters doesnt worship him like a diety and theyre not really that fanatical. Just think of the novel like the manhwa minus the expressions and comical characters. Jaxier and Lloyd still have funny banters when they interact. The manhwa really exaggerated Lloyd’s personality when in reality he talks and acts like a normal protagonist.
Yall be prepared cuz this season is practically them just struggling to even take a breather for a single moment. It's like that saying: Out of the frying pan, into the fire.

The amount of characters that have "Kim" as their surname makes me think it's plot-relevant, but no. It's just the author being uncreative and detached with the names, so he pivots to the "Koreans commonly have Kim as their surname" excuse.

Which chapter were you in? Also, judging the whole narrative from just a few chapters is a bit careless. The characters haven't even been presented completely, and this story has some of the best written character arcs for the girls. It's lovely. (=・ω・=)
I've read far into chapter 98 before dropping. I cant believe I gave it that much chances. Usually I'm dropping after 30 chapters in. Idk if it's the manhwa's fault cuz sometimes they purposefully left out so many things from a novel they adapted and the story reads as shallow.
Eh, i like slow paced stories as much as i like fast pace, gives me time to get emotionally invested, and the intriguing personal secrets kept during it were good enough for me, the anticipation of the perceived betrayal and the other characters theories about what's happened and about the main characters motives were fun to watch, the dread was real, the conflict felt palpable emotionally, but i get that it's not for everyone. I like introspective stories with lots of interpersonal stakes
The story feels weirdly empty but purposeful at the same time cuz there's no agency with the MC other than him trying to improve his body to control his magic again. Most of the time, he gets swept into a plot that has nothing to do with him lol. I like misunderstanding plot like this. The MC is weak (by force) but everyone keeps treating him like the strongest person ever.
