And am so glad that she tried to better herself when she got home. Because she deserves so much.

And wtf was up with that high priest dude, like it would have been another story if he loved her as a brother, a brother trying to save his younger sister because of his shitty life and hers. But to fall in love with her because she reminds you of your mom. Like bro wtf. Not only was she your sister but she reminded you of you mother. Talk about a complete creep.
And on the same note WTF was up with all the love interests the crowned prince the dragon slayer dude and the high priest. They all hated Eris and loved Helena. In the book right. So much so that the crowned prince was happy to kill Eris as soon as she killed Helena who didn't even die since the high priest brought her back to life and while knowing she's his sister turned his back on Eris and then the dragon slayer dude he was just head over heels for Helena. Honestly am so glad that the maid of Eris got revenge for Eris since she was the one who loved her the most. She deserved so much happiness kinda sucks she was turned into a cat or a familiar she deserved peace. But it is great that those men are suffering.
The past few days I've been really reincarnation (ik this one isn't really a reincarnation story along with another one i really liked) stories and there was one I really liked but it's still on going so I read another one and another one and then I found this one to be completed since those are far from completed and now I kinda just wanna quite two out of three of them since this manhwas right here made the expectation bar so high.
I am so glad that the real Eris and Anakhin had their happy ending although i wish there was to it because it would be so cute to see them in the real world.
Empress Helena I feel so bad for her she became empress and in all reality she will never be happy she will just end up just like Alexco's mother. Sad angry she's a kind girl but she will probably end up killing Alexco like the empress did. But I hope she finds happiness.
Book Eris I feel bad for her because she was never able to feel true happiness she was truly loved by her maid and got motherly love by her but not from her father or real mother or even the crowned prince or her brother. Everyone hated her she must've suffered so much to become that heartless cruel woman. She just wanted love from the prince. And to think that when it wasn't really her the love she so wanted was given to her but not her. The poor girl.
I hope other characters like the sorcerer or he little girl kinin or smth will be able to be happy.
The crowned prince was shit for trying to rape Eris ik his father told him to but it's disgusting. He deserves every terrible thing to happen to him not just because of that but because of how shitty of a person he is.
This is really long probably not all my thoughts and feelings on this but this is by far a beautiful story that I love and will probably be my favorites. They ended up embracing their hidden nature and that the black mirror was created by human's malice. The world was unfair and will never be fixed so they did everything they could to have paradise (a better life despite being in a cruel world they live in) by killing people who pose as a great and mighty person when in fact they're not (cause those people are the cause of other people's misery so it's like two bird hitting with one stone) even if it's wrong to kill. Cause that's the only way for them to live and survive in a world like that.
I love that ending very good makes me love it even more
Why are people acting as if rashta is so innocent and such an amazing character, don’t get me wrong she’s written very well but she’s not a good person
To kind of elaborate on what I mean is from what people are saying is that she only did things because she was being manipulated by all of those around her.. but in the beginning she really wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong I think she deserved better from what happened to her when her arc ended but she did a lot of horrible things, she ruined people’s lives before the divorce and before she even got pregnant. She was all giddy when Naviars lady in waiting was being punished, when she supposedly wanted to be close to Naviar and be friends with her. Rashta tried to humiliate her in front of people. Souvieshu was horrible horrible, he is so bad on soo many levels but I don’t really want to get into him cuz he sucks.
Rashta later in the story convinced her fake parents to try and kill their real daughter with them not knowing who she was but Rashta knew they were her parents while she claimed to try and find Evely.
People did her dirty really bad but she really did a lot of the stuff on her own. Maybe things could’ve been different if the emperor never found her she deserved better, until she didn’t deserve better. She did what she had to, to survive… but and this is a huge but she really did not need to do a majority of the things she did, if she just was herself and whatnot and asked souvieshu for help or whatever things could’ve been better instead of all her her plotting and making bad allies who were trying to harm her. Of course she didn’t know better but I don’t think she was as stupid as she seemed to be.
Another thing is that people seem for forget is that this manhwa is based in a different era before any modern thought process. No slaves cannot consent but she did what she was doing to survive she got with that man’s son and had a baby to try and bring her status up so she wasn’t a slave.. that didn’t work so she ran off and the emperor found her and that’s when her status when up basically immediately. She had it so bad and it’s really so sad but at some point maybe when she first became the concubine she didn’t have to do what she was doing anymore.. she could just live her life without having to try and manipulate people or become like Naviar to stay by the emperors side she did too much.
But anyways this manwha is a historical fantasy, the noble people and royalty grew up in that system and even if they wanted to they couldn’t change the system because that would mean having to rewrite the whole legal system which isn’t even something they can do.. especially Naviar she did not have power like the emperor or anyone else she couldn’t just make changes to the legal system. Plus is the heartbreaking truth but slavery happened all over the world especially criminal based slavery like in this specific story it lasted thousands of years. I don’t get why people wish to pretend it never happened because this story minus all of the fiction and fantasy aspects really happened. People cannot act like none of this never happened, it’s partly why the story is pretty good, because it’s not acting as if the main characters are perfect and that they are the greatest people ever, they all have their faults each character has their faults but it’s all because of their living conditions. It would be amazing if we lived in a world in which since way back in time people were good and didn’t harm other or have slaves or commited crimes. But that’s just not the world we live in. I think this story is great because it highlights those aspects, and it’s why people hate this story because they wish to pretend that characters could do no wrong when in reality and in this manhwa each and every character does bad things, especially the main 4 characters.

Thank you frfr also sorry I write a lot like every time I read people’s comments about this character and that character then how this one is so much better blah blah blah it gets really annoying how no one wants to see the bigger picture. If any one of us was in either of their shoes without the knowledge of the modern world, we would have all ended up with the same beliefs and values.
The slavery wasn’t the best writing but it was pretty accurate for a fictional story since that was how slavery was in many countries for a long time, people would commit crimes and then they would get arrested and given time and they had to work off their time and crimes as slaves. In real life there were a few different types of slavery which is horrible and very sad.. But I usually say when people read the fantasy historical stories and get upset with them is that they cannot handle the history if you read a historical fantasy or even a historical story, it is going to have bad in it no matter what and if you don’t want to read stories like that, watch Bridgerton where they act as if history was a perfect time, when in reality it was harsh and cruel to those who were rich white people. But besides that the story was really well written in my opinion and all the characters are well written as well but people have a hard time looking past twists in front of them and seeing more to the story.

Simple, they created this whole morality for their saintess Rashta, in order to justify her greediness and murder. Now, they attacked Navier as if she did something to Rashta when in the first place, SHE DIDN’T DO anything at her at all. She just ignored Rashta, Rashta being so full of herself, try to befriend her cuz she knew she got Soveishu backing her, why these readers got their brain fried just to justify a mistress’ doin just because she is abused and being manipulated when in fact all her decisions stems from greediness.
