Yeah it’s a bit sad that the other taichirou was starting to fall for our Ino, but tbh I kind of enjoy the fact that they’re with different people. It’s a parallel universe. It makes sense that things would be different people would end up with other people. That Ino seemed to seriously like Suzuka and she really likes him. Taichi only just started to fall for him. I think the way things worked out was bittersweet but interesting.
I feel like if they had ended up together that would be the most basic and obvious outcome.
