Luckily I can assure you my mom’s ex is a friend of hers and of mine and they would never ever hop in bed together again. And similarly my dad’s ex is still in contact with us (though they did have a child together so duh) and they wouldn’t spend a single thought on getting together again.
And even one of my friends traveled with her ex, in the knowledge of her boyfriend and nothing happened. But I guess this is fiction and it makes a more dramatic plot when exes keep pursuing them... we shall see how this will end ^^
