I know they all got what they deserved. But I kinda feel bad for Cain. At least, he knew he was in the wrong and tried to fix his ways to become a better person unlike Mielle. I feel that he deserved a second chance like Aria did. What a sad way for him to go.
can was also lusting over her lmfao that's enough of a reason for me to feel justified about his death (and it's ironic too. he always defended mielle and complimented her in the past to insult aria's low upbringing. now SPOILERS the reason he died is because he complimented mielle's tea at first, only to end up insulting her in favor of aria being kinder than mielle—pure irony, if you ask me,
Oh I totally get it. He was a cruel asshole in her first life. Then he was a gross pervert in the second life, Ik they aren’t biological siblings but it was gross seeing him lust after her. However, I do get your point about how he seemed to be willing to change after his sentence. Matter of fact, he didn’t have an issue working to be able to care for his father. There was a sliiiight glimmer of hope for him to be remodeled but Mielle crushed the fuuuuck outta that so ajajajaj oh well.
same i pity him bc at least he was trying to change and even accepted his situation (compared to his shallow btchy sister), like his death left me empty but i get that it was for poetic purposes (how mielle killed all those who cared for her) which felt very game of thrones so i kinda dig it. but then again the payoff was meh bc mielle didnt feel an ounce of guilt and regret by doing that to her family and to her ownself. like if she realized that, it wouldve been better
I'm only at chapter 3 right now and fl is weak and crying all the time. Tell me she got character development.
yall are so annoying with your weak fl, when will you realize that there are stories besides strong FL, some of these stories are just recycled and bad. Yall never understand that the environment also plays a big factor. I recommend becoming more open minded because you are missing out on some good stories with great plot
What I'm asking for here is a character development. Instead of crying and having to rely on her man to come to her rescue all the time, it's obviously better that she can be able to save herself, whether with wits or physical strength. Well, if your tastes are weak ass women who cry at the sight of every single little things, go ahead and enjoy them. I'd rather stick to my cup of tea. Your opinion is un-needed here.
Sure. I'm not asking for that kind of nonsense either. She's traumatized, yes but she needs to get herself out of it. She needs to heal herself slowly but surely along the way. That's what a character development is. In fact, I'm not sure if you even want a natural character development when you're basically saying it's okay to seek protection all the time under the disguise of trauma.
I'm not sure you understand how trauma works or if you've only dealt with it through the lens of your entertainment. There will be a lot of regression before progression. She cannot snap herself out of it or get herself out of it, not by herself. While I do understand it's frustrating to see someone flounder and cower in certain scenarios this is not one where it is justified considering the abused she has dealt by the hands of a parent from young and is now in a situation with a foreign man and his men who outwardly despise her.
Natural character development taking those into consideration will be slow. So I'm telling you to measure your expectations.
