Even if Sansui is Suiboku's disciple, in the end the older sage is no different from your typical OP character who hoards his knowledge and skills till the day he dies. And probably he was thinking, the agreement with god was to turn Sansui as the strongest. It didn't mean he needed to teach him everything and he did held his end of the bargain as so far, Sansui is the strongest character in the series, excluding older and more seasoned sages and similar beings.
But it's really frustrating with his personality from start till the current chapters to the point that he doesn't deserve to be considered a sage. He's basically a warrior who trained at swinging his sword for 500 years.
He barely even has the temperament and wisdom of a sage even if his training isn't complete.
The story is promising but the MC is lacking in a number of particular areas. Isn't he an assassin so why does he get flustered on the simplest things? Is he not aware of the saying "not to wear your heart on your sleeves?"
It fits the bill for assassins who do not show their true faces to anyone to avoid leaking their weakness.
Speaking of emotions and facial expressions, some of the chapters particularly around 26 to 28 are just way comical. The lip bites and flustered faces seemed to look like they're horny about something rather than flustered or surprised. It doesn't match the scene at times.
I wouldn't say he's a TRUE assassin. He's a necromancer first with an assassin subclass; he's honestly (personal opinion) only using it for physical combat. He unlocked his abilities in the second world, first using them to survive, not assassinate really, but the lack of combat awareness is troubling me. Like, what do you mean you were the best player in the second world and get surprised by such trivial matters?
The MC is unnecessarily lenient at times leading him on creating a number of loose ends which proved variables against him. If he cares about his people, he should avoid creating these mistakes. He's too arrogant at times, always believing the work he did was enough instead of making sure the enemy is truly dead. And at times, he even sympthasizes them, like what the fuck? They contributed to your demise in your past life so you don't owe them anything, even a sliver of sympathy or pity.

Beyond the black flags in their relationship, I bet it'll be a funny scene when they have kids who are already teenagers.
