While I'm excited for the new animation it's kinda sad that they changed the artstyle. I've noticed this for a lot of webtoons, abytime.it gets an animated version they just make the artstyle so generic.
And this artstyle is very simplistic too so I don't see why they would change the artstyle. They did the same thing with solo leveling and lookism and made them look so generic arhsbndsm
I'm hoping at least the voice acting is good.cause the animation aside from the artsyle is really nice

Also i just don't think the mc makes her sister as much of a priority as she says she does, i didn't like how the whole time she never brought her sister to the north. Like i doubt her sister would think living in a duchy during war would be worse than living in a cage.
Even when she tried committing suicide while her sister was still trapped like omg at least free her and let her live in a bunny farm somewhere.
Anyway if her sister or the duke dies the story will just be too sad for me. I already hate the whole taking over the palace thing

I'm gonna sound like a victim blamer but it's pretty obvious that while Ed's feelings were not as intense as they are right now, and we the audience know this because we see him, he was also keeping his distance to show no weakness and protect her, but if we subtract that, it was very clear that his actions were lut of consideration for her poor health.
I say this as someone with low self esteem, but it is very easy to take other people's actions personally and view it as them seeing u a cerain kinda way.
Cause of her dad's terrible behaviour she assumed Ed must think poorly of her as well.
I was honestly suprised when the female lead said Ed treated her terribly cause literally everything he did in the flashback was just "oh this seems like it'd bother u, don't worry about it" and it was her that assumed he didn't care about her.
Like literally she looks like she'd die from a heart attck by light jogging, why would brody with his huge muscles and unlimited stamina risk having sex with her.
She also doesn't interact with ppl alot so he assumed she wouldn't want to.
While it's not entirely her fault for not speaking up more, he's not a mind reader so he couldn't possibly know she was upset unless he rold her.
It literally reminded me of this insta post this girl made about how ladies should try their best to break out of social conditioninf and be more honest with their feelings. She made a skit about how she was feeling sick and her boyfriend literally asked if he should stay with her since she's feeling unwell and she said no cause she didn't want bother him.
When he came back she was angry and was resenting him.
In the skit she clearly stares that he did nothing wrong, and even if she was expecting him to stay anyway or insist more so she could feel like saying yes, there's no way he would know that.
Yet all the comments were saying he was in the wrong and was a terrible person for not staying with her against her wishes and that he should have insisted.

Anyway maybe the webtoon will address it cause that seemed like where the flashback was heading to me.
Even me, i know i have a habit of taking things to personally. I assume someone was rude to me because i look like someone that ppl just think it's ok to treat like trash. When in actuality that person could just be rude, having a bad day or literally wasn't rude at all and I just got butthurt cause of my own assumptions.
If they add a fourth girl to this comic I'm dropping this. I thought he'd help the girls one at a time. While i know it's not a harem and i know it's the game basically forcing these intense feelings onto these girls it's still annoying watching them get possessive and angry over him. Like girl u got bigger fish to fry than worrying about romance especially when he's risking his life for yall

Why are lover girls and yearning girls treated like this. But it's always apparently romantic when the dude is a yearner/romantic.
Reminds me of a tiktok i saw of a girl planning a date with her boyfriend, and it was very obvious the girl was happier and visibly more excited to go on the date than him, but not because he doesn't like her, they both love each other very much. She is just more of an excited and open lover than him.
And all the comments were so gross, so many dides saying they would cheat on her and wouldn't treat her too well cause, she looks like sheblikes him so much and that's apparently an ick for them.

Edit: Adding to this, I have seen cases where the fl is obsessive and a stalker and the author tries to excuse their actions but no like with how male leads are seen as attractive for it but it's more like they make it seem like the things she did wasn't that bad and she was misunderstood. And i actually hate that as well. Cause it's usually only done when the fl regresses or mc transmigrates into the villainess and becomes a good person.
It's like they're trying to say the good behaviour of the mc currently means the things the villainess did before are suddenly ok. Which isn't the case at all. Stalking is bad no matter how lonely the fl is or whatever. What i want is for them to portray it as sexy like they do with the ml. Without the fl having to do a whole 180 personality for the male lead to like her.
Similar to the webtoon stalker x stalker where the fl actionss are seen as cute.
