True. Right now it is savior complex which will later convert into love when both of them will be on equal footing in the relationship. I think that's how author wants story to progress.
The exp farm is actually a great idea. If they can contain it well and prevent unnecessary multiplication it would be revolutionary for them. But they seem to spread like weeds, so if they're abything like mint or dandelions they're not gonna be contained unless u get rid of everything.
