Haebyeol (해별) / Sunny (English Name)
Given the imagery of stars, sea(lions) as well as the deeper themes of found family and the unlikely meeting of two people who were alone in the world, that complete what the other lacks, I think the name "Haebyeol" is perfect. It's a name that evokes the sea at night, meeting the stars. :')
Why Haebyeol is perfect:
Depending on the Hanja used, the name can either mean Ocean Star, Sun Star, or Great Star. All of these are perfectly suited for her and incorporate aspects of both of their names, and works well for the English name of Sunny, seeing as how a sun is just a great big star. :)

I think his real goal is Jiheon. I think it goes back to Wooju's original kidnapping. The politican was to blame for it, but it's implied that he was the Professor's father (It may have been confirmed, but its been a while since I read the first chapters). What if the Professor arranged the whole thing as a way to get Wooju to be able to "gift" to Jiheon. It's been implied that Jiheon and him are either half or step-brothers, via the neglectful mother. This whole ruse with Wooju, the Honey Trouble, the pheromone washing, everything could've been an extension of getting the perfect "gift" to present to Jiheon. Seems like the kind of thing a man with a fucked up mentality might do. Just like Jiheon's obsession is Wooju, his obsession is Jiheon.
